"Wonderful hotel"
This is a small hotel with lovingly restored features which make it a unique experience. The rooms and facilities were great and the staff were particularly attentive. The location is brilliant. Just 15 minutes to most major sites including the Vatican and Pantheon. We'll definitely be back next time we visit Rome.

Grand Hotel De La Minerve

Piazza Della Minerva 69, Rome 00186 - Map
"In the middle of the city. "
The Minerva is pleasantly well situated in the middle of the City near to excellent Restaurant like the "Rosetta "or the "Sale di Mare". Roof Terrace pleasant. Comfort of the rooms Pleasing but not 5 Star, where really everything should be excellent. But the Italiean 5 Star rating is different from f.i. Switzerland The Sedan sent for Beatrice Weber and me at Fuimincino was not good: A bus for ten people and definitely NOT a Sedan. For this price a taxi was better. However the Sedan from the hotel to the airport met my expectations.

Pocket Guide: Rome 5 stars Navona Independent Shopping Hotels

In the heart of the historic centre, Piazza Navona is Rome’s most famous square. Like a giant stage set, this is where the theatre of daily Roman life is re-enacted among the café tables that spill out onto the fountain-splashed piazza. Bernini’s baroque extravaganza, the Fontana dei Quattro Fiume, is the most celebrated of the three fountains. Nearby is the Pantheon – one of Rome’s great symbols and a marvel of ancient architecture.
