“The rooms could use an update but the staff was kind and the beach access was so special! The staff by the pool and beach were extra friendly! Breakfast was HUGE… bed was comfy… highly recommend if you want a hotel with direct beach access and close to Valetta. Finally, the spa was so lovely and I got a facial that was so soothing! Debora was the therapist and she’s just a sweetheart!”

“Had the best time at Barcelo, the room was huge with a beautiful side sea view of Valletta. The breakfast was lovely, so much choice. Reserving the beds at Manta was easy enough at Reception for the next day. Spa was lovely and the Hammer Strength Gym was fantastic. Location great for restaurants and to get the ferry over to Valletta. Would definitely come back”

“The location is close to the main historical buildings and tourist centres. The breakfast buffet provides diversified kinds of good foods and is worthwhile to pay extra cost for it. Most of the staff are welcoming and helpful. But the staff of cashier are a bit too cool to greet their guests. The dust on the cups in the minibar broke the image of its “blink blink cleanliness “. It’s good to live there for one day and try the breakfast buffet. But it is not suggested to live there for more……

“Our stay was for 7 nights and we could not have been more impressed. The staff was absolutely amazing, special shout out to Asif, he made the best cocktails and was really personable. We ate at all of the restaurant's for the property and none of them disappointed us. Food was really good and the staff was again amazing. The spa was very nice and reasonably priced. Our room was super clean and we really enjoyed our sauna/pool suite. Turn down service was a nice touch as well.”
