Facilities at hotel very good with lots to do and good transport links for the city centre- main disappointment was having to queue for breakfast each morning for around 15 - 20 minutes- know it is difficult if number of guests turn up for breakfast at once but don't know if hotel can do more to manage the situation - we were visiting at end of October and not height of summer

On arrival we were told we had a double room but as 2 friends we had requested a twin room upon booking. After a lengthy discussion this was sorted out.,
The rooms are comfortable and spacious. If you like a couple of teas/coffee you will have to keep asking for milk or just grab your own from the ship next door.

We have stayed here before and have always been happy. On this occasion however the check-in (which is automatic) turned into a nightmare. The machine could not realise that checking in after midnight should not be a problem - but, machine being machine did not understand it. Hence phone calls followed and finely, after waiting for have an hour, keys were delivered by taxi. Basically, if you plan to check in after midnight, do not select this accommodation.

Occupying the area north of the Old Town, Sant Marti is the modern face of Barcelona. It includes the massive new International Convention Centre and the stunning Vila Olímpica with its Port Olímpic marina, built for the 1992 Olympics. At weekends its beach, restaurant, bars and clubs are hugely popular. Nearby, Parc de la Ciutadella is the city’s favourite green space, home to a zoo, boating lake, greenhouse and three museums.
