Great location, so close to different metro lines so you can get to anywhere in Paris pretty quickly! We got a double room and it was standard and not much space which is to be expected, but was perfect for what we needed for a weekend away! Would definitely recommend

Great location in centre

Posted Apr 5, 2018
A small, boutique style hotel in centre of Paris in Opera area; 5 minutes walk to Gallery Lafayette department store; 15/ 20 to Tullieries/ Seine/ Louvre. M and S store around corner. Really helpful and bilingual staff. Room a little small but comfortable beds and quiet at night.

Though it's a 4* hotel, it should be rated 3*

Pros: The hotel location is perfect near all the branded shops, big malls and metro stations.
Cons: I suggest to have a new management.
Our experience with the Hotel was very bad. First, we arrived to the Hotel at noon and we were surprised by the front office manager informing us that we cannot check in before 2PM unless we pay 30 euros by the time she confirmed the first minute we entered the hotel lobby that our room is available. Other hotels, would have respected our kind request for early check in without any extra fees especially that we were leaving on Monday, Feb 12 at 5am and we paid a full night without any reservation. Second and because we had to leave our baggage in the baggage room before our check in, we've been shocked to find that a big amount has been missing from our baggage, yet we couldn't jump out to such a conclusion on the first day, at least not before we confirm. Concerning the room cleanliness, there was dust all over the closet. And finally, the front office supervisor ordered us a cab to the airport and he confirmed the price is for 55 euros. However, we were surprised by the taxi driver asking us to pay 67.9 euros, otherwise he won't let us take our baggage. In short, the hotel personnel are not honest and we do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay with us. First of all I am really surprised to read it. Indeed, I have sent you an email about a few issues we encountered with you. You inform the night audit that the 60 euros cash you paid at your check in was a deposit. He refund you whereas it was the payment of the upsell you accepted at your check in. Also, he booked a cab for you. He couldn't inform you about a different price because 50 euros is the legal rate for the taxis from Paris to the airport. The taxis charged you more because you were not on time and he waited for you. We are not responsible for the price they charge to their client and it was not necessary to call the hotel to request the refund of the difference in that case. Regarding your 200$ lost, you asked me the next day of your arrival if we did not find this amount because you couldn't find it back. The afternoon, you asked to the receptionist to call another hotel, where you stayed just before, in order to check as well because you were "sure" to have forgotten it in the safety box, and during her conversation, you said that in fact it was at the reception..... I don't know where you have lost this money, and I am sad for you, but I thank you not to accuse us for something you were sure to have lost somewhere else. I must correct the information given and defend my employees who are always 100% helpful, available and love to provide a good service to all our guests. Best Regards The Manager

Pretty hotel with great staff.

Posted Feb 8, 2018
On arrival I was very disappointed with the room size. There was not much floor space for two adults to be able to get ready in and with the bathroom door open it reduced the size somewhat significantly. The staff were very helpful and saw that we had everything we needed. I did question on arrival on the size of the room, as it was not the kind of size I was expecting. Our view was of a enclosed courtyard, which was quite disappointing. I just expected more for the price that we paid for the room. We had to ask for more shower gel on the 1st day, as our dispenser was empty and the hand soap was nearly running out. They were replaced straight away, but involved me coming down from the 5th floor to ask, as our phone in the room was broken. In regards to tea and coffee, there were only two small milks in the room which did not match the amount of tea and coffee that was available, so again had to ask for that. Two different size pillows were used on the bed, which made for a fairly sore neck the next morning, but all sheets were clean and laundered. The decor of the room was pleasant as was the public areas of the hotel. The room also lacked plug sockets which were all located on one side of the room and nothing near the bed. We had our towels taken by the maid service and not replaced and when we asked for more we were given hand towels to dry ourselves with. The staff made up for the little problems we had. And would have been a ideal for maybe a 1 night stop over.

Wear earplugs and don't take room 003

Posted Dec 31, 2017
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Bathroom floor needs to be adjusted to allow water to drain. TV in the room was ornamental - no remote / way to turn it on. Room could be quieter
Location: Location is great
This was booked through the Expedia Black Friday deal and it felt like we were given the worst room in the hotel because of it. Room 003 is next to reception through a double door, whilst muffled you can still hear voices from the front desk. Additionally the room is right on the street front (open your curtains and it's a wall of glass at street level). If you don't mind noise and are happy to wear earplugs, then don't worry. The bathroom is a wet room but it's badly designed so that water just goes absolutely everywhere and doesn't drain away. Bedding was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good, breads, cheeses, hams, fresh fruit juice, eggs, and regularly replenished. If you like a simple but good continental breakfast and you're happy to overlook the room noise/bathroom then i'd say go for it, but absolutely don't pay full price.

Dear Guest, I thank you to have shared your opinion about your stay. Regarding your comment about the TV, we do have a remote in all rooms. We invite our guests to inform us about any trouble, we could find it for you. Regarding your room, I am really surprised about your comment. Indeed, this room is a superior room which is as big as the Executive room. This room is well decorated with a large bathroom and it is one of the favorite room of our regular customer. And the most important, this room is near the reception and larger because it is an accessible handicapp room. So I can confirm you that we did not give it to you because you booked with the black friday. It is not our politic. I really regret that you felt like this. I hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again and give you another room more conviniente Best Regards
