Summer beach hotel

I think it would be better in summer. Winter, cold, dark, isolated

Lovely view. Low customer service.

Pros: The view was pretty. It was not very crowded.
Cons: Location is isolated, hallways are dark, moldy. No attention to detail--for example keeping panodil stocked at tfront desk and washing shower curtains
Location: Rocky beach. Bike or drive to city center.
The view is great. Aside from that, the room is outdated and moldy. The halls dark and maze-like. The pool and fitness center were closed. This was not mentioned at check in. When I mentioned that I had chosen the hotel for the pool, they offered no discount etc.

Thank you for your feedback, regarding your stay. I am very sorry that the stay did not live up to your expectations. We do not have panodil or other otc drugs here, as we are not allowed to sell this. Unfortunately we recently had a water damage, which we are curruntly getting fixed, this could be the cause of the "moldy feel"?? Our shower curtains should all have been replaced, so I'll have our housekeeping check all rooms, and change the ones missing. As for the closed gym and the pool, we have announced the renovation on all websites, also expedia, and it is also noted on the desk at check in. But I am very sorry that you weren't made aware about the closure, when you arrived. I am very sorry that you experienced issues during your stay, and hope that we will get a chance to show you, that we haved followed up on these.

Good hotel 3* rather than 4*

Good hotel, changing the sheets would increase this hotels profile. Helpful staff on a reasonable bus route. Quite far to walk to Aarhus if a public transport user.

Great view and great value.

The room is very stylist and the view is amazing. If the small things such as towels and cups, etc. could be more comfortable and nicer, this would be a world class hotel and great value for the money.

Great hotel, poor restaurant

The hotel is a bit dated but very comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. The downside is the restaurant. The food was poor quality and over priced. Arriving at dinner half way through the evening, most things were off the menu. We were left waiting for 20 minutes until the wonderful Elliot came over from his section to serve us. Our own waiter didn't bother to come for an order having seated us. The food was pseudo Masterchef (chicken three ways) but it was poorly executed. One inconvenience was that the road was shut off for a road race so we had to find our way through back roads but the forest is beautiful. Best thing about the hotel is the sea views which are lovely.

Never on sundays

This hotel is so poor serviced on sundays, that I never again will go there on that day. Restaurant closed. Bar closed. No minibar. No ice-machine. The receptionist was helpfull though, and the breakfast was fine.
