Pros: Beautiful view, beds very comfortable, good service at the bar.
Cons: Service at the restaurant coul be faster...

The service at the bars and restaurants leaves a lot to be desires. Preston, the bartender, and the hostesses at the restaurant were great and really the only service folks that seemed to understand the process. 15 minute waits for coffee and the bill in the restaurant were the norm. 35 minute wait at the bar for a dessert. The tips are expected and the service level for the most did not even warrant 10%. I love this hotel. It has the most friendly hotel desk staff. The rooms are always clean and the views from all the rooms are spectacular (cottages excluded). I will go back when/if I am in Marsh Harbor. This was my 6th stay at this hotel. I will probably look harder to find better food service. By the way? The food at the hotel is excellent. It is just so lopsided with the service.

"Good" hotel for the Bahamas.

Overall this is a good hotel for the Bahamas. You can walk to anything in town to include the water taxis to other islands. Nice marina and good food. Don't expect the Atlantis and you should be pleased.

Decent hotel but do not expect quality service.

We travelled the island and surrounding Cays during our stay, the service and attention we recieved at the resort was almost non existent. I know it's on "island time", but the staff here were somewhere else entirely. Every place we went off premise well exceeded all expectations. We will not be staying at Abaco Beach Reaort again, there are to many other places that are excited to shine for their guests.

My iPad and Driver's license. Reported this to the front desk and spoke to the manager. She implied that I forgot it at home because her staff is honest. I know what all I came with and am very upset with their lack of concern.
