Perfect location for long weekend trip

Posted Nov 20, 2017
Always come down to the Marriott Aberdeen during family birthdays. We normally get a poolside room, open your room sliding doors and you're into the pool and fitness area. We always come down for a Thursday to Sunday, hit the pool and gym, spend a day in town shopping, usually to spoil the birthday person. Staff at the Marriott are always friendly and very welcoming. Would recommend.

Great hotel.

Pleasant stay. Hotel offers good facilities in a warm friendly atmosphere. It is a little outside the city of Aberdeen so it may not be ideal for those who intend to visithe the city. Would stay again and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

A bit dated but everything works. Not much to say just a place to sleep. Shuttle to airport dropped people at various locations before we were dropped at the airport.

Pleasant stay

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Pros: All staff were helpful and friendly and hotel facilities were comfortable.
Cons: Service was a little slow with the evening meal.
Location: Not applicable, since visiting family, but accessible to airport.
A good experience, check in staff were welcoming and helpful,as were all the staff I came into contact during my stay. Particularly impressed by the lady staffing the desk at the swimming pool, who went out of her way to make myself and other guests welcome and otherwise was busy cleaning around the pool. Had a meal in the bar with family members in the evening and breakfast in the restaurant, on both occasions staff were helpful and pleasant. Room was comfortable and clean, so no areas for complaint,

Nice enough hotel for proximity to the Aberdeen airport. Service was good and breakfast was very good.

Nicest hotel near the airport

Posted Aug 21, 2017
If you want a nice hotel, very near Aberdeen airport, but not inside the airport perimeter itself, this is your place. While not a 5-star hotel, has all the amenities you need for a short stay, with very pleasant staff. Very near the River Don, if you like walking along idyllic river banks.

Disappointing on all levels

Posted Aug 18, 2017
Pros: the lobby is nice
Cons: complete refurb required.
Location: Good parking
Very dates decor, poor facilities, the gym is a joke and basically a poorly equipped corridor, the pool is old, the wifi did not work and I was there for business. If I had not pre-paid, I would have left and sought other accommodation. Food was overpriced and poor quality. Breakfast - the sausages were almost raw.
