Great location for city centre shopping, eating and drinking. Belly bursting breakfast sets you up for the day. Great deal and will be back

Central comfortable good value for moneyPosted Sep 23, 2015
Great welcome, big room but hot as hell even without heating on. There is no climate control. Time for a refurb especially showers and bathroom floor beds very comfy. John at checkout is a bit jaded too could do with a refurb himself. Otherwise good value and at the great price we would stay again.

Won't be back ,,Posted Jul 13, 2015 on Hotels
Stayed here three times this will be the last food was poor service even poorer and no parking within two miles of the hotel. We had to park in a car park on the other side of the city and hump our cases in a taxi to the hotel. The bar did not stock any non alcoholic beer even though I specifically requested it. The bar closed at 10:30 pm and refused to take cash and made me pre authorise £50.00 on my debit card then the bar closed 5 minutes later. If we wanted another drink after that we had to go to the night porter and wait for him yo come through. If we had known this we would not have returned so early. But it was a cold miserable night and we thought just go back to the hotel sit I the lovely comfortable lounge and have two thee night caps then off to bed. Bitterly disappointed the hotel has went way down hill.
