This is a great little surf shop. The owners are super cool and helpful, and they carry all the surfing essentials along with skimboards and sponges if that's what you're after. Whether your a seasoned surfer looking for some wax and a ding repair kit or a beginner in need of rental gear, this place has it all, and the prices are surprisingly low. They just opened a skate and bike shop next door, too.
#waterlust #WeekendGetaway Sunset at Ocean Shores, WA
#BvSWater Sunset on the beach in Ocean Shores #goldenhour. Taken just as the sun was rising on Duck Lake. The birds on the islands fly en mass to the sea at day break and return in the evening to nest. Wonderful lake and canals to explore Unfortunately, this amazing eatery closed down. What a sad loss for Ocean Shores. Original description: This little shack produces surprisingly fresh and delicious Mexican food for this small beach town. They make fresh chips and salsa daily, and the carnitas is to die for. It's a must try if you're in the area. Cash only. Horizon Last night we watched the Perseid meteors fall, then this morning this sunrise off the back deck of a lovely home on Ocean Shores' Lake Minard. Peaceful place 😄 Sharky's is as you might expect: a gigantic shark with a store in its gullet. Mainly shark-oriented merchandise. And if sharks aren't your thang, the photo ops alone are worth a visit. • http://m.yelp.com/biz/sharkys-ocean-shores • #OceanShores #Washington #WashingtonCoast #shopping #quirky A beach that makes you feel as though you are at the edge of the world. Ocean Shore Beach, it's a 2 hour drive but it's all worth it if you want to do a beach getaway. 🌊🌬 #Lovemytown Tides out.... Ocean Shores Break of day on Duck Lake in Ocean Shores. Deer family swims across from the islands just before sunrise Ride the shores #weekendgetaway It's not old but it's definitely not new. So many nearly-right things about The Polynesian make it an awesome weekend away. Kitschy fake palm trees, chlorine-scented hallways, vintage 80's arcade (Gauntlet, California Speedway, Mortal Kombat, need I continue?) Many rooms have a view ($140) and the beach is but a few hefty breaths over the dunes. The Sunday breakfast buffet ($10) is an all-out comfort food frenzy. Plus, Kurt Cobain once worked here as a handy man. • http://thepolynesian.com • #OceanShores #Washington #WashingtonCoast #resorts #hotels #beach
