Hotel was Okay, close to a Denny's

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds. Beds were not queens, therefore my husband and I had to sleep separately. We were there for 3 nights and only needed the hotel for sleeping, showering, and getting ready,, but the floors were never vacuumed the whole time we were there. I saw dog food on the floor, cricket legs, and one other bug I couldn't identify. The people there were nice, but sorry to say that we won't be staying there again.

Bathroom old with mildew/mold around tile. Did not advertise as a motel.

Convenient to ACU

Pros: Front desk clerk was super kind and helpful. Pricing was good. Will stay again.
Location: Location to ACU is great. Not much to do in Abilene.
Hotel desk clerk was super kind! Would choose not to stay in a room facing the main road or near the side entrance of the front desk area. It was very noisy! Room was clean tho hot water was spotty in shower.

TV did not work, but worse than that the water in the shower went from warm to scalding to freezing, back & forth. I told the front desk & maintenance said they were aware of it & had ordered parts. They moved me to another room where the TV worked but same water issues. They said they would discount my stay. When I checked out two days later they took off $15. One Lady was kind & apologetic, maintenance was nice, but the lady at the desk when I checked out was cold & unfriendly & stingy with her so called discount. No apologies at all. Someone could have been severely burned.

The manager was nice. Parking was semi-full but we easily found spaces. It’s not a fancy place, but was just what we needed for a one-night stay and close to the university we were going to visit. Plus, we awoke to a beautiful sunrise above a field outside our room!

Cons: Remodeled
Location: Don’t know only needed sleep
Room was ok but old hotel. Could stand some remodeling, especially the bathroom

Run down

This hotel was terrible! Run down door wouldn't lock, shady people hanging out all around, staff was rude. Would not recommend this hotel!

Pros: Location was good. Clean and comfortable room.
Comfortable room. No issues. Friendly staff. Location was good, we could get around easily. There is some road construction in the area, but nothing too bad. Just a few extra minutes on the road, that is all.
