Room smelled terrible and was dirty.

Cons: Everything.
We checked in late due to a long drive. The lady at the front desk was wonderful and said she would put us on the 2nd floor that was a non smoking room. We went to the room and the carpet was dirty, the quilt had stains and the room was musty and had an awful smell. We tried to sleep but after a few hours we had to get up and continue our drive home. Even a cheaper room should not be this disgusting.

Pleasantly unexceptional

Pros: Location; staff; tidiness.
Cons: Bathroom light/fan; window treatment; smell.
Location: Charming small town main street & world-famous Barter Theater.
One Super 8 is pretty much like every other Super 8. This one was clean with no shabbiness and the decor was attractive if low key. The property is in a good location, but there's no view. The staff was pleasant and helpful. All in all a good value for the modest tariff. Big complaint: the light and ventilator being on the same switch in the bathroom: I hate having the horrid noise every time I use the bathroom. I'm a big girl and can turn on the fan when I need it, but when I don't, which is most of the time, I want quiet in the loo. Stop being cheap and put in separate controls.

Great hotel close to Historic Downtown

I was very happy with the entire experience. The staff was super friendly, the room had been recently remodeled and was super clean. The bed was so comfortable and it was close to where we were going. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

Do not stay here

Pros: the location was perfect
Cons: everything needs improving
Be aware there is no elevator in this hotel, I booked a king bed, was given two queen beds, dust and dirt covered the bathroom and the blow dryer was broken, the phone in the room didn't work at all and 3 flights of stairs was to much to tackle to go get a blow dryer... when i arrived with my luggage the clerk (male) just smiled and said sorry we only have stairs, I informed him 3 flights of stairs was going to kill me with all the luggage i had plus i have kidney failure, he just smiled and said well we don't have an elevator... the room smelled so bad and the air conditioner only cooled the room off by 9am the next morning... the bed and pillows were hard as a rock... I will say when you walk in to the front desk it looks clean...

Exceptional office staff!!!!

Front staff was exceptional! Very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but could use updating. Carpet has very thick padding especially on stairs which causes possible tripping. Otherwise motel was awesome & very convenient for us. Mattress was VERY firm.
