“Was in the area on business. Nice, clean, decent sized room and en-suite shower room. Friendly welcoming staff. Only had breakfast in the restaurant so can’t comment on evening food but my full English breakfast was lovely. Only very minor downside is the lack of on site customer parking but I used a local car park across the road which was free overnight and reasonable rates at other times. Would come back again”

“There was a kettle with green , berry & fruit tea but no actual tea or coffee .Not as advertised. The shower head was broken with water pouring out of the side. The shower head drooped over not above as it should . It was a hassle to try to screw it back on.Trying to shower while holding it. The temperature control was difficult to set. “The staff are lovely and helpful. I did not think the room we had could be classed as superior because the bed has an old fashioned type of mattress which is not comfortable. For a superior room I was expecting a bigger more comfortable bed. We could not open the window at night because it is very low down and wild life could easily get through at night. "The check-in is slow, inefficient and chaotic which wasted so much of our time and caused lots of inconvenience. The staff is aware of the issue but didn’t show any concerns or try to help the situation. The room is in reasonable shape but the lack of amenities for a Hilton is unacceptable. This is a hot summer here in Cambridge and they don’t even have a fridge in the room?! Don’t expect to have coffee in the room either because they don’t have a coffee maker here… just tea bags and cheap instant hot chocolate (not that I would drink but no instant coffee either). The location is good. So, don’t expect the Hilton quality or service and you would probably be happier… think Marriott Courtyard or 2~3 star hotel…"
