Excellent Accommodations!
This hotel was excellent! Friendly, helpful staff, and so close to the beach! We had a room on the very top floor that overlooked the beach. We had originally gotten a VRBO close by, but that turned out to be not as advertised, so the whole family moved to Hotel Regent. Great stay!

Hotel is old but we'll maintained. It has 24h reception and helpful staff. AC in rooms is working. Bathroom has bidet but shower is grotesquely small. Also u would appreciate fridge in the room and second key. Hotel is located just across the street from public beach and supermarket Tigre is near by. There is some restaurants in the area and more if you walk the coastline promenade. Bus station is near and bus 10 is going into the city center (central train station) but on the holly days and weekends there may be only one bus per hour. You can youse public electric scooters or bikes. Bicycle path runs parallel to the coast.

Pros: beach is close, just across the road, room was spacious. Cons: Hotel is quite old and is located on the poor side of Pescara - city and promenade is on the other side of the river. Breakfast is very poor. They charge you for using sun beds on the beach, hotel’s beach is v small and they don’t clean it. Overall I was disappointed

Dear guest, Thank you for leaving your review. Hotel Regent is a historical place in Pescara. In order to get an up-to-date appeal, it has undergone many refurbishment works from 2001. This year we have renewed the restaurant and we have expanded food choice for breakfast. We propose also typical food from Abruzzo region. The promenade has been expanded and during summer all beach services are open. In all beach facilities umbrellas and sunbeds are fee-paying services. You can choose free-of-charge service in the public beach. We are glad to guide you and recommend the ones in front of Regent Hotel. The Best for your Euro
Absolutely the best value, location (on the sea across from hotel’s private beach), room (modern, spacious, on top floor looking at sea and beach) and efficient service i’ve experienced this year (and have been traveling for 4 months). Fun, upscale town with lots of elite shopping and affordable dining (try Betta next door!) with one of the best beaches anywhere

Choose this hotel because of its location and price. I was not dissapointed at all. The staff were curteous and very efficient. The room although not large was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The worst 3 star hotel.
We spent in this hotel 11 nights. We were very disappointed with this hotel due to the bathroom more in particular the size of the shower. The cubicle was 50cm x 50cm so that was really difficult to take a shower by adult. Room was cleaned every day. All staff was very friendly especially from the reception. Totally disappointment because of the breakfasts. Choice for breakfast was very poor. There were croissants, bread, salami, ham, cheese, eggs and cereals. There were rotten apples and oranges. Every day was less and less fruits and waiters not added fresh fruits. The waiters were very lazy and did not care about cleaning dirty vessels.They talked to people and they wrote text messages on their mobiles. Every day we had to ask for a tablespoons to cereals because instead tablespoons were knives. Not every waiter spoke english, somethimes that was a problem. The internet was so slow you cannot use it. We travel a lot and we saw a lot 3 or 4 star hotels, but this time the Regent Hotel was the worst one, even with comparing with others 3 star hotels in Tenerife or Spain. The entire hotel is a big disappointment and definitely I never recommend it to my friends.

Imposible connect to wifi, even when we went down to main lobby and struggled to book tickets and sort out things for next day. Very basic breakfast. Shower so small that everytime i moved i kept hiting something.in the morning there was so much noise coming from construction near by .

We stayed here on our way to the south of italy and we booked only a couple of hours before arriving. The receptionist was extremely efficient and really helpful. She recommended several places to eat and helped with directions. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was not being able to get the air con to work. However all in all I would recommend this hotel

Nice location
We attended a conference at the University so the location was convenient. Our room was always cleaned beautifully every day. The staff at the welcome desk was cheerful and happy. They helped with every question. On days when the hotel was more full, the breakfast staff worked so quickly and efficiently. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Very nice stopover on the way to Rome
Hotel was very nice with a good location, although a bit of a walk to the main beachfront. Restaurant at the hotel was very good with excellent service and the breakfast buffet was also very good. Only set back - could not figure out the TV.

Stayed on the 3rd floor which was carpeted. The carpet had severe stains everywhere...dirty, dirty, dirty. The other floors had wood so maybe they were going through reconstruction however that was not communicated. The room next to us was non stop noise for 2 nights. Three of the 4 front desk agents were incredibly friendly. This made up for one that was UNFRIENDLY and not use to dealing with diverse clients.

Locals hotel close to the beach
It was a much smaller room than we thought but being close to the beach in late June was fine. The locals loved the are and we thought it was nice but used it as a travel point to surrounding attractions. The room being small for an older family of four still has good beds and sufficient towels and an ok breakfast. The help were very nice. We loved the local vibe but remember Italians charge for everything on the beach. Great gelato everywhere

OK for a short stay.
Location was good, across the street from beach. Staff spoke English and was very accommodating. Breakfast came with room reservation but it was not good. My corner room was small with a queen size bed that was hard. Not much room to walk around. Bathroom was extremely small (3 feet by 3 feet) with two accordion sliding doors. Room was cleaned by friendly staff every morning. Bike rental available at front desk. Overall it was an ok hotel. Could stay there again if needs be but I'll sure try other hotels in the area.

It was a fine hotel for the price, however being beach front doesn't actually mean beachfront. Be aware that if you want beach access you'll have to pay a bit more. This hotel was directly in front of a public beach (dirty) and surrounded by "private beaches" which were "owned" by more expensive hotels. I would suggest paying a bit more if you're using this hotel for a beach holiday. Other than that everything was great. Friendly service, happy staff, spoke English well enough and right next to a Gelato Bar which was fantastic! Not far from the famous bridge (which was closed) and the city center. Using this hotel for anything other than the beach? Then it's great!
