Jacques Cousteau 51, Acapulco - Map
It was a different kind of experience when I checked in at the hotel. Been to a lot of places all over the world but this was a genius creation - the price and creativity of this hotel has been unbeatable! staff were very friendly, first time I stayed at a hotel where I decided to stay and not taken any excursions.

"Clean & Economical"
For someone not planning on spending much time at your hotel, this is a pretty decent hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. I only complaint was that the chickens next door would wake me up at 3:30 AM when they started to crow. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay there for a week.

"Nice hotel next to the beach "
My stay was for a week. I experienced good times and some bad. I will focus on the bad cause the good ones everyone will have. The staff was a bit rude. While getting lunch they refused to serve me and my family just because I didn't purchase the room with food included. I said to the staff that it didn't matter all I wanted was to purchase food from the premises and they were hesitant to do it but at the end agreed and I was over charged. I felt judged and mistreated because of my appearance. Not nice and not fair. I did love the views and the rustic feeling from staying at this hotel it was beautiful.

"Decent, cheap hotel in Acapulco."
It's a nice but modest hotel. Small, but nice pool... parking available; great location (although no beach access); large but dated rooms with kitchen and noisy A/C. I guess this hotel would be great for people that will not remain there, but rather will go out to the beach, clubs, etc. It's not a "resort" in any way, but it's a nice, pleasant, very cheap hotel in Acapulco's newest and nicest area.

"Cheap and good"
First of all the hotel was very cheap, it was clean, air condition in the room, not very soft bed but if you're looking for something not expensive it is perfect. You can watch the cliff jumpers every day. The worst part of the hotel is the restaurant - expensive, not good food. It is better to go 4 blocks down to the seafood restaurants (fishes, shrimps, lobsters) - great quality, fresh, cheap. Staff in a hotel very nice and friendly. There is WiFi access close to the reception desk (no WiFi in rooms).

"Great location! "
Overall the hotel was good and in a great location near restaurants, bars, clubs and even the mall. The hotel staff was rude but there were about 2 waiters I encountered but forgot their names that were attentive and helpful. False advertisement in terms of the hotel having wi-if!!!!! I talked to the hotel staff in the lobby and they kept giving me the run around regarding why there was no access to wi-fi up in my hotel room. They were very rude! You only get access to the wi-fi in the lobby which was slow and sometimes wouldn't allow one to log on. One thing I would suggest is security in the pool area as well as rules for the children. So many children and parents were rude in terms of pool etiquette. Parents felt it was ok for their children to splash water in people's faces and the excuse was that they were teaching them to swim. I respect that but at the same time be courteous to other people and respect their space after all we are all hotel guests looking to relax and have a good time. The hotel can use some remodeling.
