"We enjoyed our stay in this tiny house! Spent quiet mornings on the screened porch with coffee and a breeze off the channel. It is a tiny space but perfect for our weekend getaway and we appreciated having more space than most island hotel rooms. If you book in July it should be in walking distance of the Fireman’s Carnival."

"We had a wonderful time! The pier access was a major plus! Beautiful spot to watch the sunset. The pool and outdoor area/fire pits were all really nice for relaxing evenings back at the hotel. The continental breakfast was one of the best I’ve had! The kitchenette was really handy. There were a couple of minor issues with the room. The tv stand was broken/missing a door, and the bathroom door stuck and didn’t shut properly. It was a girls’ trip though and none of us minded. The price of the room couldn’t be beaten, and we would definitely come back!"

"The Waterside Inn is one of my family’s favorite places to stay, the rooms are always so clean, adorable for a beach themed hotel and you can’t beat the view of the water from your room. The pool that they have on sight is clean, the temperature is always perfect and never too busy. We will continue coming back here AGAIN and AGAIN. "

"The property was clean and located near the water. The staff were friendly and the room was very spacious. The pool was not open during our stay which is unfortunate because it looked really cute. They provided hotel breakfast (continental) with standard options. Staff was friendly. "

"Perfect for a couple or a family with young children. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and everything you need to cook and eat in. Close to everything. Screened in porch was lovely, especially in the morning and evening. Don’t forget to bring your own linens."

"We rented this cabin to spend a couple of nights to be close to other places we planned to spend time at. The cabin is much bigger than I thought it would be space wise. The kitchen is tiny, only one person can fit in there at a time. It worked well for us, but just know if you plan to make a big meal with lots of prep you will have to utilize the dining room table for that. The ad states there is Satellite TV but for us it didn’t seem to be hooked up, again we weren’t there to spend all day watching TV so the antenna worked for us. You won’t be bothered all the way back there and there is plenty of space outside and in to have alone time. We had one issue with the hot water but a quick response from the host we were up and running in minutes. The cabin does sit near the creek but do not expect to walk out the back door to it, its back in the marsh. Overall a beautiful place to spend a weekend, it fit exactly what our family needed and I would highly recommend. We will be back."

"been staying here for years as it was convenient for us but we were not happy as it was run down and not being cared for properly. it seems the property is under new management. what a difference "
