This is a mixed review. We arrived at 8 pm and the check in process for our group took over two hours. In the end, the rooms still weren't right (we reserved two twin superior rooms). One of my guests ended up sleeping on a chair! This was after I make an in-person visit to the hotel two days in advance to double check the reservation made on-line 4 weeks before the visit. To accommodate, one of the rooms was upgraded to the executive floor where the convenience, comfort and service was excellent. One employee, "Sika", was tremendous. He stayed well after his shift ended to cater to our group. He went above and beyond.

We are truly sorry that you had difficulties during check-in and that there was a misunderstanding with your room. Due to the triple occupancy we had actually allocated a bigger room (40 sqm but with king bed) with the intention to make it more comfortable for you. Our Twin rooms are between 33sqm and 35 sqm but of course, don't have the required privacy of separate beds. Stay away... There are other hotels in Accra.

Booked and paid specifically for two-bed rooms (multiple) ended up with one single bed in each room... It took more than 2 hours to switch to a two-bed rooms and check in, ended up with one single towel set... WiFi was spotty, even at the lobby. None of the plugs were working in my room - and, yes, I know there is an on/off switch for the plugs... Will never ever stay at this hotel. It's simply pouring the money down the drain.

Food mediocre. The much advertised wagyu burger was not available and the normal hamburger was overcooked. Buffet choice and quality mediocre. Breakfast menu nothing to write home about.

A great escape from the heat and excitement of Accra. The hotel staff are excellent very polite and helpful. The rooms are of a good size however need a bit of a spruce up to bring the attention to detail back. The air con is also far to noisy. The breakfasts are Fab and set you up for the day and the 6;30 chocolates a nice treat. The pool is large and in well kept gardens.

Fabulous hotel and pool in central Accra

This is, in my view, the best hotel in Accra. The staff is world class, the rooms are excellent. Food services are also very good, both the buffet and the a la carte menu. The airport shuttle is both complimentary and very efficient. Excellent experience

You get what you pay for and it’s expensive...

The staff were excellent and they deserved every tip. The hotel is pricey but it pays most hotel staff less than $5 US a day. The food in the Sankofa restaurant is repetitive but tasty. Thankfully, I never got ill from eating any of the uncooked vegetables. The rooms were just as nice as the Conrad in Miami or The Four Seasons in Victoria, BC. The area outside of the hotel facility is in need of compassion and economic support from the government and all the foreign countries who invest/steal from Ghana . Beyond the gates of The Movenpick can be an adventure into another world...so be prepared to witness a country in need of Love, financial support and better infrastructure.

Great manager and very helpful with lost and found items. This is one of the best hotels i have had the opportunity to stay in. The food also is excellent. The staff Are very respectful and friendly.

Great high end hotel.

Great property and amazing pool area. The room was very comfortable, small but had everything I needed. Great pillows and bed was really comfortable. The deli was handy and reasonably priced food. Delicious mushroom salad and moringa juice is delicious! Breakfast buffet was wonderful. The bar area was nice although bartenders were arguing about something in front of guests. Nice shops and include a bank on the property. Would stay again.
