Magnificent hotel with attentive staff

Pros: Clean and spacious room. There is a pharmacy near the lobby and it is very convenient.
Cons: All staff at the restaurant should be knowledgeable of and taste the food that is served in order to make suggestions to guests.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The pineapple juice at check-in was greatly appreciated. Sweet and refreshing. My room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately, another guest on my floor was praying literally shouting at the top of his lungs. I thought I would be patient and let him finish. But I needed to rest because I had an early flight the next morning so after 2 hours of this ordeal (it was past midnight at this point), I called the front desk and complained. The agent on the phone notified the manager on duty of my complaint and within minutes he was on the floor. The guest had put the "do not disturb" notice on his door. A staff member called me to follow-up on my complaint and informed me that because the guest had the notice on the door they could not knock on his door per the hotel's policies. She stated that they have attempted to call him, but he did not respond. She reassured me that they would do what they can to talk to him. Minutes after we hung up the prayer "stopped." I understand the hotel's policy, but I suggest the hotel add an exception: if a guest displays the "do not disturb" sign on his or her door, but engages in activities that disturb the peace of other guests, the hotel staff will knock on that guest door to attempt to restore the peace. Overall, I really appreciated the hotel staff's prompt response to my complaint and the phone call follow-up. I will certainly be back at the Mövenpick Hotel and hopefully that guest won't be there.

EXERCISE CAUTION ! YOUR STUFF COULD BE STOLEN !

2 New Ralph Lauren Shirts & 1 New Arab Kandura dress stolen from room. At least 4 messages sent to general manager to complaint. No response, No Apology from Movenpick Hotel. Senior management in this hotel don't seem to care and respect the Hotel brand and remain in communicative.

Accra's no. 1

Pros: The staff. Very efficient!
Cons: At times the air conditioning didn't feel adequate, and the pillows were uncomfortable as well.
Location: Centrally located.
I always stay at the Moevenpick on my visits to Accra. It is conveniently located, with excellent staff, and a well maintained hotel.

Weekend getaway!

My husband and I had no intention on staying at the Mövenpick hotel, however we did intend on just swimming at their pool and enjoy some bar food. when we arrived and saw the beauty of the hotel, my husband instantly knew I didn't want to leave so soon! the buffet was delicious and had so many options! The staff were very friendly, and the pool was relaxing! later that night we enjoyed the Mövenpick hotel cocktail bar called One2one and finished the evening off with some wonderful music provided by the dj for the night and the theme was 80's RnB and sampled several wines. This weekend was a great way to unwind in Accra and collect our thoughts while enjoying some luxury fun. We plan to come back on Friday for a AfroBeats Night at the Mövenpick hotel for more entertainment! The room we stayed in had a beautiful view of the pool area, and the room was fairly cleaned.

Great hotel on a good location

The only inconvenience was the fees for early check in or late check out. Flight times are all late back to Europe or US.
