It's Africa People!!! Not the USA or Europe!!!

Pros: I liked the friendliness of the staff members and the restaurant.
Cons: The only thing negative that really bothered me was the trash on the beach. People use the beach as a dump for trash. The place would really be amaz
Location: You can take a cab anywhere and the front desk will arrange that for you. Walking the streets is a wonderful experience.
I have read so many bad reviews about this hotel. Give them a break. For Ghana it is a very nice place. When you arrive they have a wonderful Clerk in Reception, his name is Anthony. Always smiling and doesn't forget your name. The rooms are clean and cleaned everyday by housekeeping. The air conditioning worked. The place is worn down but it is by the ocean and in Ghana. If you are looking for a great place then pay the cost at a nicer hotel. For the money this place is wonderful. You can feel the culture. Walk the street that the hotel is on and see the culture.

This hotel needs a face lift.

The staff was great but the facility needed a lot of upgrade. The white bed sheets and pillow cases had unsightly stains. The paint on the walls were in terrible shape...peeling and dirt stains on the walls. The washer stall was falling apart and the fixtures were falling apart. The towels were in very bad condition. Overall a bad experience. I would not recommend this hotel to a friend.

Terrible hotel with deceitful ads and brochures

The So called Ramada Resort hotel at Coco beach in Accra , Ghana is a terrible hotel that with very poor facility and service. The facility advertises with glossy pics in magazines and brochures as a resort but it is a bed and breakfast with terrible rooms , outdated bathrooms, and very old Air conditioner that does not work properly . The rooms are very stuffy with smelly tropical humidity mold odor. It is situated in a shanty township near the beach but travel to the location is nerve racking and noise neighborhood all night with load speaker music blasting from the shanty town local bars in the neighborhood. I would not recommend this so called hotel to any travelers especially North Americans as the place is worse than a travel lodge motel or B&B .

Pros: the location near to the beach and that it was quiet
Cons: the service in the restaurant was pretty slow most of the time I was there
Location: the location near to the beach was good but the beach needs cleaning up, the hotel was a bit isolated and you need to travel into town for things todo
this is a nice hotel with a good swimming pool and reasonable food, the beach would be nice if they .it up as there was all sorts of things washed up on to the beach, the staff were friendly and very helpful but the service was slow for getting meals.

Pros: very calm environment.
Cons: room and laundry services.
Location: extend your service to Nigeria
serine and quiet atmosphere... good for holiday but service very poor.laundry service not pleasing atall.

Lovely,but wouldn't reccomend for long stays.

Pros: The beach, the staff, the pool and the location.
Cons: breakfast and the restaurant service and food. Also room key was also broken.
Location: Not tourist area, lived amongst locals which was an experience. intimidating at times, but plenty of security and avoided the hustle of tourist areas.
Some of the staff, especially reception staff. were VERY helpful and friendly and would go out of their way for you although some were lazy and uninterested. The room was fine, mostly pest free, air con worked perfectly and the water worked most of the time. The hotel was lovely andquiet so we often had the pool to ourselves. The location was nice because it avoided the hustle of central Accra, only it is pretty far from anywhere and the hotel taxis are a rip off and the traffic is ALWAYS bad. My only complaints were that my room key was broken every other day and the restaurant service was poor, especpially during the day when they would stock hardly any of the menu. Food took ages and unless instructed to bring out when ready rather than together, one meal would always be cold. Some waiters were uninterested and didn't offer drinks, whereas others would offer you everything. One day we ordered chicken breast and it came as stir fry, which was cold an unappertising. When notified, the waitor said it was our fault and refused to refund of replace the dish. When spoke to the manager he gave a free drink but also didnot change the meal. If staying in hotel for a long =time, i recommend eat out during the day as the service will gradually annoy you.Overall people were nice and we enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel, only thing I would say is breakfast was awful and the restaurant has serious issues which need addressing, especially as there aren't many local dining spots.

high potential, poor service

Pros: nice swimming pool and outdoor area, Great location if you are looking for a place on the beach. rooms well furnished.
Cons: smelly and damp rooms, very poor service, Far from the city center and shops. Internet connection was poor
Location: on the beach in a relatively poor area, 1 hour drive from the airport, No shops nearby.
the hotel has high potential but staff is poorly trained. They provide no service at all. Upon arrival we had to wait 10 minutes untill the receptionist finished his (private) phonecall.We had booked online and got confirmation thruogh email but the receptionist insisted that we printed out the booking. We had to go to the hotels business centre to print out the email before we were given our room keys. Our rooms (on the groundfloor) were damp and smelly, which is probably due to the location on the beach. However, proper airing of the rooms could have prevented this. We asked for rooms on the third floor but were told this was not possible, although the hotel did not seem fully booked and third floor rooms seemed available.The lights beside the bed were not working and even after calling twice, nobody came to repair them.
