Great location /great staff

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning and the end of our trip to Greece. The hotel is located at the foot of the Acropolis and the Museum. It is close to Monastiraki and Plaka but is on a quiet street away from all the noise when you return to your hotel. The furnishings are simple but clean and comfortable. The staff is great and tend to all your needs. Also a very nice breakfast to start your morning. Highly recommend.

Airotel is located very conveniently to everything great in Athens. The souvlaki place at the end of the street is the BEST !!!! The hotel staff is very helpful, sweet, and professional but our room which I had to change was rundown. The bedskirt was torn and the marble tiles in the bathroom were stained, rug was stained too. However , we had a great big patio which was nice. As soon as I told them, they changed our room . The breakfast was in a pretty light filled room with a million choices of things to eat from Greek specialties to eggs , etc. The rooms just need some TLC otherwise I would give them a 4.5. Great price and great location .

This was our third stay at Airotel Parthenon. Easy access to all the great things about Athens. The Staff is amazing..from help with our heavy bags to easy check in, comfy beds and an amazing Breakfast buffet. We have also noticed some nice updates with new Air Conditioning, new flooring and new room doors and updated locks. These people care about their business!! We'll be back!!!

Nice hotel central to all the sights! Ok

Airotel parthenon was better than we expected. Central location, clean rooms, nice breakfast and lovely staff. The photos don't do it justice.

In Plaka BUT...

I'd rather be further and stay in a place that has basic necessities, is clean, and has working appliances. The AC took an entire 20 hours to cool the room, and thank God I was staying with my mom and we had the second key in the room so the power can remain on while we were out. Otherwise, the first night, it was as if no AC was on and the room itself was very humid and moist. The refrigerator didn't work, known to the staff. Upon check-in, I was told that it is just a "mini-bar" and will keep just beverages cool. Cool was an understatement! The hotel provided two .5L bottles of water in the "fridge" for one euro each, and when I opened the fridge, the bottles were at room temperature! When I noticed the cooling dial was at level 1, I turned it up to 5; a few hours later, the waters were still at room temperature. We left the second key in when we did our tour of the Parthenon and Acropolis the next day, and by the time we got back, both the AC and fridge were operating as hey should have at check-in 24 hours prior. So essentially, we spent 24 hours without AC and a fridge, I had to mess with the fridge, and we had to play games with the room key always leaving the second one in the power slot so that these basic necessities could be available to us so that we don't die from heat exhaustion and so that our snacks don't spoil. So about the fridge, turns out the hotel is just cheap and purposely tells you that it doesn't get cold? No tissue paper, found pubic hair on the toile

Close to the sights

We have stayed at the airotel Parthenon a few times and will be back. The breakfast is huge with many flavours and choices. Staff are the best. Sights are within walking distance and also restaurants too. Everything was great but felt the 4th floor bathroom was a bit dated but not a problem to us we will stay again.
