Getting to the hotel is a bit challenging because you’re told you’re not allowed to drive on Via Vittorio Emanuele. The hotel can do a better job of letting guests know that a driver can carefully drive on the Via carefully and slowly and if stopped by police to show the hotel confirmation email and you won’t be ticketed. The hotel is a beautiful old palace that needs to be updated, but the staff is lovely. We are extremely grateful for Giovanni’s help when we were lost trying to get to the hotel. Thank you

This is an unusual and quirky hotel in a great location. Loved the decor and the staff were very nice and helpful. Enormous breakfast, way too much really as they brought it out to you, rather than you choosing for yourself. We had booked a room with a balcony that we could sit out on, but we were upgraded to a larger room with two balconies. Unfortunately, you couldn't sit out on the balconies. Also despite being called a junior suite, and whilst nice, there was no seating area and so you could only sit on the bed. There is room to put two chairs and a small table which would make the room more comfortable. Would stay again because of the great location and staff.
