The hotel is tired. It needs updating badly. Doors on cabinets didn't close correctly, the carpet was frayed and had spots. The place just needs a make over.

Never again

Nothing at all like the pictures. We walked into a room that smelled of curry. The couch was torn and smelled of curry as well. Looking at the unclean room, I did not even dare to try their free breakfast. Never again!

Furniture was old and linens torn. Bathroom dirty

Furniture was very old, torn and stained. Stayed one nite due to unable to book somewhere else. Paid to cancel rest of reservation. Would not recommend it to anyone

You Get What You Pay For...Not So Much

Location is fantastic. The building is old, in desperate need of udating. The bed squeaked so loud it was embarrassing. The mattress was so old and uncomfortable and I did not sleep either night. That may also have been due to the fact that the front door not having a functional lock. I reported the lock issue and it was not fixed. Bathroom in my room was gross with stains I don't want to describe. Breakfast buffet did not look very edible and smelled. I chose it for location and price. Cost $90/night and I gladly would have moved if I knew what I was getting. Perhaps not the worst ever but, higher on that list than "best ever".

Great location

Upon my arrival it was raining and found no covered area to unload which kind of disappointed me. The Hotel staff were very nice though, even called me once in room about 30 minutes to make sure everything going was ok. Hotel is in great location where you can walk to lots of places to eat within just a block or two. I must say the room was a bit small with bed area closed in as a seperate room. Hotel was very quiet and breakfast was hot and good. I would stay here again. 4 stars from me!

Keith, Thank You for staying with us. Our rooms with king sized bed are one big room with no bedroom division. You may like one of those a bit better as they seem bigger. We are happy you had a nice stay and look forward to seeing you again.

Pros: EVERYTHING
Cons: Hotel staff given power to make decision on late arrivals.
Location: NO PHONE COULDN'T CONTACT ANYBODY!
My phone had been destroyed. I tried to get things taken care of along the way. I came from Des Moines, Iowa on my motorcycle. I left 6/6/17 8:15 AM. because of things out of my control, I was still at 10:00Pm 3 hours+ away from Addison Texas. Thunderstorms I had to stop get a room in Purcell, Ok. I was still charged for both nights. I know, not the hotel staff were responsible for this. But, I was mad. And still am.

Biker, We are sorry the rain kept you form getting here. Our desk clerks are not able to cancel reservations after a certain time, but are able to make notes on the reservation for management to see. Hope you come see us in the future.

Hotel in Addison, TX

This was my third stay & honestly not sure I'll stay again. The staff was not very friendly this time. The sink in our bathroom was clogged up and not draining. The bathtub looked less than clean. And housekeeping took our towels but didn't leave any more even though we had one more night. Plenty of other places to stay in this area that are much nicer for about the same price. Hotel is very quiet though and the beds are comfortable.

Very relaxing

After going to Texas for a trip I had made reservations to red roof inn walked in and was ready to go,went online and found this one they allowed me to look at the room first to make sure it was to my liking and it was excellent for the price

Hotel Needs some help.

Pros: Location to where I was traveling.
Cons: To many things to note here. See the above paragraph.
Location: Location is awesome and has plenty around it.
While it is located near where I was going this is not worth the money per night that it costs. I had a lot of hair in my bathtub, I had to kill a minimum of 3 spiders that were in the room, the trees outside the room prevented a good nights sleep as they were constantly hitting and brushing on the window and then to top all that, went down to have breakfast at 815 and all was cold and nasty. When they did finally bring out fresh food the eggs had so much liquid in them that you could have strained them and got a good quarter cup of liquid. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a Hawthorne Suites. Will not be staying at this location again!

Chris, Thank you for staying with us. We have spoken with housekeeping about the hair in the tub. We have also cut back the trees and sprayed for the spiders. We would of been more than happy to move you had you let us know of theses issues. The breakfast attendant also has been spoken with about keeping up better with the hot items.
