Good location and very helpful staff but our room was looking tired and in need of an update. Clean and comfortable though.

Good quality hotel in the south of the CBD

Posted Apr 18, 2017
Pros: Location in the south of the CBD was close to good restaurants and shopping areas and easy access by car
Cons: Wasn't obvious that the card in the power slot near the door needed to be fully pushed in to enable all power. Could be made clear.

This is a good quality hotel. Appearance is somewhat older in style but well maintained and attractive. Room was large with lounge and min-kitchen. Centrally placed. Wifi, bathroom and bed were all good.

relaxing weekend in the city

Posted Apr 17, 2017
Pros: location and the restaurant
Cons: nothing really
Location: already advised in above review
Spent good friday and easter saturday leaving easter sunday morning. The restaurant, Di Mare, had excellent food and the waiter was very friendly. Free wifi all weekend for the kids was great! Pancake kitchen a few metres away and Hindley street, Rundle Mall, Central Markets, River Torrens all within a 5 - 10 minute walk. Swimming pool and spa plus a small gym. Nothing else you could ask for.

Great location and spacious room

Posted Mar 3, 2017
Pros: Its location, cleanliness, friendly staff
Location: Rundle Mall for shopping, laneway cafes and restaurants are easy to find, excellent place to stay for Adelaide Fringe Festival
We stayed in this hotel at Currie St for 7 nights in February 2017 for the Fringe Festival and were absolutely satisfied with our choice of hotel. Fantastic location as it is a walking distance to almost all the tourist attractions including the Festival areas, Tandanya Theatre, Rundle Mall and all the laneway cafes, bar and restaurants. Our room is spacious and comes with a separate lounge area with a minibar and a microwave. It also has ironing facilities and hair dryer. The separate lounge area made it rather homely for our 7-night stay. As it's well located, taking public transport was absolutely convenient and uber is only a phone-call away. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel close to Rundle Mall

Posted Feb 25, 2017
Pros: The location, comfortable bed and spacious room.
Cons: The amount of light coming in around the door needs to be addressed.
Location: The hotel is very near restaurants and a great shopping area, Rundle Mall. The markets are about a 15 minute walk away. Public transport is nearby.
Overall, the hotel is very nice, and the location is fantastic. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a mini bar fridge stocked with items including wine, bottled water, and soft drinks. Plus milk for your tea/coffee. An electric jug and mugs etc are also provided. The bed is very comfortable. Take an eye mask if you cannot sleep with bright lights, as the light around the door from the hall outside is very bright. The air-conditioner had an annoying little rattle which my ear plugs did not block out. The hotel controls the temperature, so the only options are on or off. Make sure you tell your taxi driver that the hotel is on Currie St, as there is another hotel with the same name on Hindley Street.

ROOM TYPE

Posted Feb 23, 2017 on Wotif
Put is in a lower grade room than what we booked and paid for. Not happy. Complained..but told By Manager (Thomas) that photos on the web site is not typical to what one could be given. No external view. Window opened into a 'dumpy look courtyard' (Room 201) Thus was certainly not the Executive Room we paid for. NOT HAPOY WITH WOT IF. NOT HAPPY WITH HOTEL. WILL COMMUNICATE FURTHER. UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE ANOTHER NIGHT HERE IN THE 26TH.

The bed was too soft and the bathroom needs a little more clean up. There was a bit of dust in the room.
