Classy hotel, good value

Posted Aug 18, 2016
Pros: Everything! it has it all, the rooms are loverly, recently upgraded and all amenities work well.
Cons: nothing
Location: The location is great, surounded by several really good restaurants and bars.
This is one of the most trouble free, great experience hotels in any major capitol city. It is located right down town with convenient parking (not too expensive) the front desc staff are attentive, experienced and very helpful.

You Have Been WARNED

Posted Aug 15, 2016
Pros: The staff
Cons: Double glazed windows up date the bistro it's very cold looking
Location: central close to shopping and night life
First of all it's hard to find the car park it's down a ally which is two way but only enough room for one car.Once inside the car park there is just enough room for a car no bigger than a commodore and even the the alarms were going off (distance sensors)Our room was on the 11th floor facing Hindley st .We did notice that the room was a bit on the warm side found out later that the A/C was not working and by the morning it had worked it's way up to 30c reported it it got fixed. Then on Sunday morning awoke to no hot water at all in the hotel turned out to be a gas problem that happened over night alot of unhappy campers at breakfast.Oh and Hindley st is Adelaide's night time mecca Friday and Saturday's so the noise from night clubs and people travel even up to the 11th floor. This is our second bad experience with this chain and it will be our last

Thank you for providing us with your thoughts relating to your stay with us Mark and its disappointing to here that you did not enjoy yourself. We do feel very lucky however to be one of only a handful of city properties that can offers its guests onsite parking and the alley that leads to our entrance is in fact a one way street but sometimes people do not necessarily abide by the road rules. Also it was an unfortunate situation with the gas supply to the property that caused the water issue you speak of and our team acted as quickly as possible to resolve the issue so to limit the impact to our guests. If we do get the opportunity to welcome you back and hopefully you will be able to see the improvements that we have made.

Never stay again.

Posted Aug 2, 2016
The location is good but the facilities are old. It's very noisy at night because many pubs nearby. I think that there's some construction near the hotel, it's very noisy in the morning also. Maybe the wall between two rooms is soooooo thin that I could hear what the people said very clearly. One night, someone crashed his bed in the next room, my bed was shook also.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback Mary and its very disappointing to me that you your stay was not as enjoyable as you would have liked. Our team does strive to ensure that our guests are not impacted by the external noise around the hotel but unfortunately this is sometimes out of our control. Great location, good price

Posted Jul 17, 2016
Hotel was in a great CBD location, well priced. During our stay there were a lot of problems with one of the three lifts. The sheets on the bed had stains, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The car park was tiny and on one rainy night we had to park in an over fill car park next door.

Great within City Precint

Posted Jun 30, 2016
Pros: The night duty manager had the initiative to cancel the extra Internet charges. Thank you.
Cons: Increase the free Internet allowance especially for business clients. What is 250 KB?
Only setback was the stingy free Internet allowance of only 250 KB

Good location for night life.

Posted Jun 30, 2016
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Bed needs replacing, lift to car park needs fixing (in progress I believe), bit more care inspecting rooms after cleaning.
Location: Good for night life in Hindley street.
Hotel was good but kitchen floor was not clean, had large dried spill of something sticky on the floor in front of the fridge. The right side of the bed was bit like sleeping in a hammock, it was so hollowed out from age and use. Apart from that it was good.
