Lipari wonderful LIPARI !
Our 4th time here and it never fails to please everything is always great . The staff are always courteous and friendly breakfast is very good and plentiful. Wonderful experience on Lipari every time

Nice Hotel, Great Location
Great location and nice hotel, Booked a large apartment style room through booking.com and they lost our reservation. They ended up putting us in a much smaller room than what we had booked, Very disappointed with this. Moved us the next day to a larger room, but still not what we booked. No refund for the smaller room either. Property was very nice and pool was refreshing. A/C was so so. Breakfast was decent, although coffee/ espresso/cappucino was from a machine, which is terrible for Italy. Staff and location was outstanding, which made up for the deficiencies.

Positives and negatives.
Some positives, some negatives.... Agave Apartments is run by Villa Meligunis. Check in at the hotel, and they will walk you the 3 min walk to the apartment. If you arrive by ferry, call and they will pick you up. Staff are very helpful, and breakfast at the hotel is good. You can also use the pool at the hotel. Apartment is spacious and comfortable with small balcony for drying laundry and fresh air (tiny, and close to neighbours. There is a decent kitchenette included. Negatives were that the Tv didn't work, tiled floors are old and seemed to give us dirty feet, and most strangely, although there is a kitchen, there are literally zero utensils, cutlery, plates or glasses. None at all. To obtain these items necessary for self catering, there is a 15 Euro charge, with a 15 Euro cleaning charge on top of that. I've never seen that before, and to me, it's crazy.

Ideal at [Marina Corta]
We had a 4 night stay at this very good hotel. It is well placed at Marina Corta. The breakfast is very good and with a variety of items. Very clean and most comfortable. When asking for an additional night from our original 3 the booking was cancelled and a new booking was put into place with a much higher tariff. I cannot for the life of me know why that had to be the case. It was mid October and the hotel was far from fully booked, Is that an Expedia oversight ? I am quite puzzled. The additional night was the same as 3 nights, Quite unfair and exploitative I feel.

Very nice hotel
We had a great stay here. The place was very comfortable with a lovely terrace and about ten minutes walk to town. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We ended up staying an extra night.

For the money, the room was extremely dated and the bed mattress was uncomfortable. The view from rooftop is lovely but best to go for dinner and stay elsewhere.

Enjoyed our stay, but for two minor problems. First, the restaurant had closed for the season, and we had to take meals other than breakfast outside the hotel. Second, we had been told the hotel would pick us up at ferry terminal, and we alerted them as to time of our arrival, but were emailed that we should telephone on arrival. As we had no functioning mobile phone, we had to walk to hotel. Hotel was clearly closing down for season. One high spot was the young Swiss German woman manning the reception desk. Courteous, knowledgeable, helpful in all respects!

hotel very nice, no hot water in the am, location was actually across from the port we thought we were arriving at with the hydrofoil, had to get help to call the hotel and they gave us a ride. Overall good.

Lovely studio near the port
On the website it's called 'the annexe' but it's actually a studi flat (with small kitchen) near the hotel in a separate building. The room was very big and comfortable, and the staff very pleasant. The breakfast was very good too with and amazing view! Completely worth the money. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel for everyone.
The hotel was great. Really good location once you realize that the pedestrian streets are not on Google maps. Excellent view from the restaurant. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Lipari.

Hotel a Marina Corta di Lipari
Sono stato in questo Hotel con la famiglia come base a Lipari per poi visitare tutte le Eolie. POsizione fantastica, vicinissimo a Marina Corta. Piscina non troppo grande ma perfetta per i bambini. Camera spaziosa anche se i letti per i bambino erano troppo stretti. La posizione dell'hotel è formidabile. Unico neo la colazione che ha lasciato molto a desiderare, siamo in Sicilia e non c'era frutta fresca, bisognava chiederla. Il personale è stato sempre molto gentile.

Zentrale Lage und tolle Aussicht
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral zum kleinen Hafen, um die Ecke ist man schon an der Promenade mit netten Restaurants. Trotzdem war es abends ruhig im Zimmer. Wir hatten Zimmer mit Meerblick, schön den Sonnenaufgang zu sehen! Das Frühstück und Abendessen auf der Dachterrasse ist nicht nur vom tollen Ausblick her sehr gut und lecker.

Hotel grazioso a Lipari
Hotel molto carino che riprende lo stile degli alloggi di Lipari. Posizione strategica, proprio accanto al porto di Marina Corta da dove partono molti battelli. Zona servita e a pochi passi dalla via principale di Lipari. Porto di marina lunga (da dove si parte/arriva in catamarano) distante 15 min a piedi. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Stanze pulite ma molto essenziali. Da rivedere la colazione, con prodotti non all'altezza della struttura. Complessivamente un bel soggiorno.

Très bon séjour dans ce bel hôtel au coeur du quartier animé de Lipari mais sans l'inconvénient du bruit. Une vue fantastique depuis le toit terrasse de l'immeuble pour le petit déjeuner.

Wunderbarer Dachgarten
Schönes Hotel mit kleinem Pool auf dem Dach. Morgen und Nachtessen auf dem Dach mit herrlicher Aussicht über den alten Hafen und die Altstadt. Das verwinkelte Hotel hat viel Sitzgelegenheiten mit schattigen Plätzen über das ganze Hotel verteilt. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Der Taxidienst zum neuen Hafen (ca 1 km) wird erst ab 8.30 angeboten. Vorher muss man für 15 Euro einen privaten Taxi bestellen. Und viele Schiffe nach Milazzo fahren bereits vor 8.30 ab.Da müsste das Hotel etwas beweglicher sein

pessima accoglienza. Mi si era dato come hotel aperto ai cani ed era stato specificato. Non era così, per cui mi sono ritrovato in un monolocale a 500 mt di distanza dall'hotel al secondo piano senza ascensore. Non ha niente di un 4 stelle. Neanche un parcheggio per le macchine, che a Lipari è necessario

nulla di male ma nemmeno fantastico
hotel bello ma scomodo da raggiungere . Ascensore pericoloso. Si chiude senza fregarsene di chi passa( mia figlia si è chiusa le dita) . Formiche in bagno. Colazione pessima. Aria condizionata che quando attacca fa un casino enorme e ti sveglia.

4 notti con aria condizionata guasta altra camera non disponibile(mi offrono ventilatore) Io e mia figlia 7 anni siamo rimaste bloccate in ascensore per 10 minuti allarme non ha funzionato abbiamo aperto le porte con le mani. 2 addebiti sulla mia carta di credito ingiustificati attendo ancora spiegazioni e bonifico.

We went to Lipari for a one day trip from mainland of Sicily. Hotel is about 1 km from the port so do not forget to order hotel shuttle bus which is free. They bring you also fo the beach (about 3 km) for free. Hotel has high standard of service and good quality of rooms, unfortunately ours was on ground floor with window into the yard, so a bit noisy because of people returning back and I felt a bit unsafe to open the window as we were on ground floor. Maybe because the of that the price was good, so watch out what you get for your money. In general we can recommend the place.

super Hotel mit traumhafter (Frühstücks-) Terrasse
Hotel liegt etwas entfernt vom Fährhafen. Zu Fuß und mit großem Gepäck wird´s anstrengend. am Fährhafen gibt´s aber Taxis. Hotel liegt in der Altstadt, sauber und gepflegt. Zum Abendessen außerhalb des Hotels sind es nur ein paar Schritte zum kleineren Hafen mit vielen Restaurants (hier fahren viele Ausflugsfahrten ab). Begeisternd ist die Dach-Terrasse mit Blick auf die Kathedrale auf einem Lavafelsen. Schwer zu beschreiben. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kostenloses Internet in der Eingangszone. Für italienische Verhältnisse "reichhaltiges" Frühstücksbuffet. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Retour sur la chambre "studio_annex"
Nous avions opté pour une des chambres indiquées comme "studio_annex" sans trop savoir à quoi correspondait cette mention. Il s'agit en fait d'appartements de l'Agave Residence, un bâtiment situé à 300m environ de la Villa Meligunis, à qui il appartient. Cela implique de se déplacer pour prendre le petit-déjeuner ou demander des informations mais l'appartement était tout à fait confortable et équipé d'une kitchenette. Très satisfait du rapport Q/P, cela mérite de réserver à l'avance pour profiter des meilleurs prix.
