Coackroach in room! Hotel Needs improvementsPosted Mar 15, 2018
We booked into this hotel for a family gataway. We were travelling with children aged 2 and 3 therefore the all inclusive option was an perfect for us. When we arrived into the reception I looked around and there was a musty smell and I noticed that people were smoking and reception I was highly upset because it was uncomfortable being in reception with the children. Checking in was quick, however when we arrived at the room the two keys provided didnt work. We were left outside the room waiitng for the porter to get new key for 10 minutes. The room was ok sized for a family room, it had a set front room full of sleeping and a living room. On first glance the room looked advergae but on closer inspection the the room looked like it was in need for refurbishment. Panels discolored and the mirror was in dire need of changing. When we open the curtains in the living room there was about 30 large black ants under the sofa and by the cot bed. We told reception and they sent someone to clean it. However they ants retuened the next day... We took the children for dinner that same evening and the dining hall was large and the food is okay. Some days the food was good other days not so good. On the third night there was a cockroach in the bathroom we called reception they sent someone up right away to remove it however the children were now frightened of the bathroom. We had a massge which was a good value for money. Overall the trip to Marrakech was amazing.

Pros: The location Cleanliness Free shuttle to Medina every hour
Cons: Wider meal selection/snacks- vegan, vegetarian options. Staff communication. Entertainment needs to be better. More of a 5* service. Room service
Location: Location- Only accessible by taxi or car. 15 minutes from the main Medina- can go to Souks or small Mall. Golf course nearby. Better for kids.
Unless you speak french or Arabic, nobody engages with you in English, despite the amount of British tourists staying. Cleanliness is 4/5. Unlike other hotels, only give you one towel- take it away during the morning clean and not replaced until after 7pm. Telephone wasn't working, so I couldn't call room service should I need anything, I had to go all the way to reception. The ''Snack bar'' is basically just for basic drinks and the odd fruits they keep in the fridge. It is definitely not open all day which was unexpected. Only open for 1-2 hours between meal times and closes at 6pm in the Riads so you have to stay at the bar and take any drinks back to the room. Entertainment- 2/5 - The bar had one of the bar staff singing repeated songs all night. Nothing great. The classes on a day when it rained were not announced as being cancelled or moved indoors so couldn't enjoy any of the gym/fitness classes there. The drinks were also just watered down juices. Not fresh! Reception staff were very friendly and smiling. However, I didn't feel they attended to any of our questions or needs. Phrases like 'I really want to do something for you, but I don't know what to do' are quite common. SPA CREDIT is just 30 mins in a steam room. Complete waste. The steam room was very dry and smelly. No towels- have to use bathrobes to dry yourself. Food- 3/5 Not the best selection- couldn't eat anything in buffet, good ambiance, Chef Ali was accommodating. Overall rating- 3/5

Great place. Our second visitPosted Feb 19, 2018
All inclusive hotel. Nothing too much trouble. Loved the huge heated pool (there are three). Lots of activities eg aqua aerobics, archery, belly dancing. Good spa (you pay for treatments about same as uk prices) with another relaxing pool). Food is good. You’ll not go hungry as even when main restaurant is closed there are snacks at the pool bar. Fab afternoon snacks with fresh cooked doughnuts! Bar staff very friendly and remember what you have for your all inclusive drinks. Recommend a visit!

Not Very Happy with the stayPosted Feb 15, 2018
Reception staff - Not very Pleasant . Rooms - Dark and walls are dirty with stains on it.Beds separate with a crease in middle , almost fell in the night as no clamp to hold them . Had very uncomfortable sleep. Main pool shown on pic - water slides not working which I found disappointing as My Daughter wanted to go on it. No Tea/ coffee in room . You have to walk for 5 mins to the restaurant to get tea .These are Basic amenities. When asked for an extra Towel- Housekeeping said no I can’t have it ( Never had that before ) To get Pool towel - Go to reception get a card and then go to another place to get one towel and then you go to pool.

Good hotel with excellent facilitiesPosted Feb 4, 2018
Location: The hotel is about a ten minute free shuttle ride from the Medina. Lots of excursions are available from the hotel.
This was booked as a last minute trip somewhere "different" The hotel proved to be excellent value as it was "off-season" and, by the number of families staying, it was good value for them too. The staff were "all" very pleasant and attentive, making sure that everything was in order. The only exception being one particular receptionist who was quite abrasive. We went "all-inclusive" and we couldn't fault the quality or variety of the food. However, the hot dishes on the buffet struggled to maintain their temperature and became lukewarm very quickly. On our first day, there was a microwave available to heat food if required but that disappeared by the next day. The clientele of this venue are mostly French families and, although most of the staff spoke English, a working knowledge of basic French would be useful. The facilities were very good in general but I would rate this hotel as 4+* rather than five.

Great hotelPosted Jan 30, 2018
Pros: Staff and environment
Location: Market which hotel provides a free shuttle bus. and Menara mall
Stayed at kenzi club in January, was an amazing hotel with lovely friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. The all inclusive option was well worth it as there was food all throughout the day. The food at times was quite repetitive however always fresh. drinks were always available, however alcoholic drinks were watered down as most hotels do. Overall experience was amazing a 10 minute drive from the airport and 15 minute drive to the nearest market and mall

Rate Kenzi Club Agdal Medina All InclusivePosted Jan 30, 2018
Pros: Fabulous room (Deluxe), clean and air conditioned. Entertainment Staff were full of life and energy. Spa treatments Restaurant
Cons: Reception staff rarely smiled and service was desperately slow and even unhelpful.. Need a separate adult only bar.
Overall, we had a wonderful time. Heated outdoor pool in January was great. Quality and variety of food was good, but inconsistent in quality (mainly evening meals). We have five spa treatments, all great with the exception of the Hamaan experience with black soap which was poor. Reception staff were professional, but no smiles and not very helpful when we had queries. They are the first point of contract, so disappointing Entertainment staff were fabulous and full of energy. Best ever. Delux room was clean and lovely and better than the pictures on the website.. EXPEDIA NEED TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER - IT SHOULD BE MADE VERY CLEAR THAT YOU PAY EXTRA PER DAY FOR THE USE OF THE ROOM SAFE, THE GYM AND ALSO THE SPA. This is an unwarranted and unnecessary "surprise" on arrival. Also, if being advised of a spa credit in the booking, it would be helpful to know what the "Spa Credit" is worth or treatment it refers to. Would recommend.
