Nice hotel with awesome continental breakfast and evening social! Nice location in the Santa Monica Mountains. Close to Malibu and Zuma Beach!

Nice hotel but little expensive

Cons: little expensive
Location: close to Malibu Hindu temple; Santa Monica beach; Venture beach
Nice and friendly staff; great breakfast with many varieties for vegetarians; 24 by 7 availability of coffee at front desk; clean room. Nice hotel for families with kids.

A great getaway!

We were greeted with an amazing staffer! Aaron was very accommodating and kind! He immediately made us feel welcomed! The suite was perfect for our family! Just enough space and all necessary amenities for our weekend! The complementary breakfast was very good! We had a great experience!

Nice hotel, close enough to beach and Universal.

Picked this hotel because of location, beach and Universal Studios. My wife is what ppl would say is a hotel snob. Brings her own clorox wipes and checks bed before we can get comfortable. She had no complaints.

Needed a good relaxing place to get some rest and this place was great for that. Came for one. Igor and decided to extend one more night after I saw how comfortable the room was. A bit noisy but not too bad.

We stay cause we were visiting Malibu Vine Safari.

Pros: Cleaniess, private, and near stores.
Location: Visit Malibu Canyon Vinery.
After a 90 minute tour with Malibu Vine Safari, we came back to the hotel, and relaxed in spa, and pool. Since we had a group of 10 we BBQ outside on the patio. We had a lot of fun staying, and celebrating my daughter's birthday.

Great place

Pros: Good location for doing business in Long Beach
I had and issue with a a/c making noise and the staff took great care of the issue.

Generally good, but a few disappointments

Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: This hotel is in Southern California. Why do you have a comforter on the bed when a blanket is more than adequate if you don't want to run the A/C?
Location: Lure Fish House restaurant a short drive away. Trader Joes next door.
We stayed at this hotel over President's Day weekend in 2017. The hotel fronts overlooking the freeway, so rooms in the front are probably quite noisy. Although we asked for and received a room in the back, you could still hear some freeway noise. The refrigerator in our kitchenette was incredibly loud. When it rained the noise from either the gutter or rain on the porch was quite loud all night even though I sleep with earplugs. The hotel staff was pleasant. Breakfast was good. This was obviously supposed to be a disabled person's room, but was poorly set up for that. Although the door to the bathroom was huge, the toilet was probably way too low for any person in a wheelchair. In addition, there was insufficient room on either side of the bed for wheelchair access. The space between the air conditioner and bed was so small my wife hit the air conditioner when she got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.
