Nice Hotel close to the freeway.

Posted Jun 2, 2017
Pros: What impressed me most about the hotel, was the cleanliness and size of the room and the fact that it is pet friendly was great.
Cons: The high rate for the overnight parking and the quality of the of the food was not worth paying the room service rate.
Location: Location was great - being close to the freeway.
The property of the hotel, as we arrived, was very well kept in clean. Loading and unloading is relatively easy and accessible. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean, spacious and updated.

Perfectly situated near mountains and Malibu

Posted May 30, 2017
Pros: Staff!
Cons: Food!
Location: NA
In the area for our daughter's wedding at Malibu Solstice, this hotel was perfectly situated and very accommodating. Great staff! Very comfortable rooms with balcony views. Food left much to be desired, but pleasant servers and pleasing spaces made up for much of that. Just have dinner somewhere else.

Nice hotel with a great location right of the 101.

Posted May 27, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Upkeep and maintenance of the grounds.
Location: Great, near the 101 with easy access to all things in the Conejo Valley, Malibu with the San Fernando Valley and LA to the East and South.
Check-n was smooth, although the desk agent forgot to give me the internet password so I had to call down for that. Notice the hotel grounds were looking like they need some maintenance; red curbs paint peeling, entry level not bright and clean. Once past the lobby the hotel building itself is looking worn. Rooms are quite nice and comfortable. Have always love the bedding and able to enjoy a great nights sleep. Had a problem with the in room fridge resulting in spoiled food, however the manager was gracious to refund the cost of that. Even though the property doesn't have a garage, parking is in an open lot surrounding the hotel they charge $14 per night for overnight parking which is annoying.

We still do not understand why it cost fourteen dollars to park our car. I think the part where a manager tried to tell us that the cost to maintain the landscaping when up. i do not think that is something you want to tell your customers, or expect them to care.

Booking and TV problems

Posted May 24, 2017
Pros: Hotel is convenient , up to date and clean. Nice rooms.
Had problems with Expedia booking, so technically was not a hotel problem. However, front desk was not friendly even before booking problem. Be careful with Expedia. Clicked on room that said it included breakfast, but hotel said that was not included. Turns out Expedia charged my card right away and used that as an excuse to refuse breakfast saying that breakfast is only included when you pay later? What? It was a bait and switch! Took an hour with customer service to finally get a refund for breakfast. Other than that, outside and adjacent room noise very high and the TV didn't work, but got that fixed.

Very nice Hotel close to shopping and relaxing.

Posted May 24, 2017
Pros: The Hotel was clean and upscale.
Cons: The beds are too high and the cabinet in the rooms is too high.
Location: The hotel is on the side of the hill and some rooms have a peek to overlook out the windows. The Camarillo Outlets are a very short drive away.
Great Hotel close to shopping and also in a very relaxing location. Pool was great and so was the restaurant. The furniture in the rooms is a little over sized, the beds were very high and the cabinet was large limiting the room to move around. Some balcony rooms only overlook the A/C units on the other building. Another minus was the charge for parking which is a trend that is being followed by in large City Hotels. Overall, I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Short stay but great stay!

Staff was welcoming. Arrived late (1am) and was checking out at 11am so they waived the parking fee. Great customer service!

Unfriendy staff- horrible bedding

Posted May 22, 2017
Staff are not friendly, room on the second floor had AC units behind the window and and a 10ft wall behind it. Low room ceiling, pop corn ceiling, horrible bed. Will never stay here again. I do not recomend this Motel!
