Pass on this one

After over paying for this so called "resort" they went and charged me 51$ for the food and drinks that I moved to a different cabinet so I could use the fridge for my family. It took 30 min in a line to check in with three people at the desk on a Friday night and at least 15 people in line. The grounds are filthy and old. Not well maintained at all for the price I paid. I'm not a picky persons but for the amount of money I spent on this "resort " it was by far the worst resort I've paid for.

Hot in Phoenix

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Expedia.com
Cons: waterpark closed earlier than expected for an early August visit-- closed at 6pm, it was 97 degrees, why so early?
The resort is spread out and nicely landscaped. I believe it use to be a Point Resort, the addition of the waterpark is excellent. Put the icing on the cake.

Good quick family vacation

Pros: Service, restaurants, location
Stayed here when it was the Pointe at South Mountain. We needed a two night stay in Phoenix before heading to Flagstaff and this worked well. The location is great - close to the airport, near a mall and shopping, right at the base of South Mountain. The restaurants on site were good and fun. My kids loved Rustler's Rooste, and the food at Aunt Chilada's hit the spot after a day at the water park. The water park was fun and a nice addition to the resort, but our family enjoyed the small pool outside our room just as much. It was great to have both options. The food at the water park is very overpriced. We loved the service in general. They drive you in golf carts to the restaurants, golf course, etc, which is very helpful because parking is at a premium and once you find a good spot, you don't want to move your car! When we first got to our room, a King, I have to say I was disappointed. We were in Camelback, which is right next to the water park, as requested. As I mentioned, parking is tough and if you don't happen to get a spot near the building, it is a real hike to your room - in 100 degree heat. And things are not marked very clearly, so it can be confusing to get around. The room was dark, had no real balcony, and a TINY bathroom. For four of us, it was cozy. The sofa bed was very thin and uncomfortable. After getting our bearings and spending some time there, though, it was really a good experience. Once we figured out where our room was and the bes

Cons: Billing be provided at check in and under the door early at check out date.
My bill was not provided under my door for early checkout or at check in. I was quoted $100 and my American Express was charged $197????

Grate family fun😊

Alot of fun for the family. The resort is very well maintained, the rooms are clean, and the water park was a blast. It would have been nice if there were water slides for the kids under 48 in., and the snacks and drinks were a little bit pricey, but overall a good time.

Old noisy hotel and crowded water park

Posted Jul 21, 2015
See title above. Far too many people in the water park. Very very loud air conditioners in and outside of room. Clientele very unmannered. Staff was professional and attentive.

Great hotel with an awesome water park

Location: This hotel is close to The Arizona Mills Shopping and theaters.
We have stayed at this hotel several times. It continues to be a great place to stay for fun and relaxation. We love the Oasis Waterpark and spend many hours on the lazy river. We also used the fitness center this stay. It has many machines, exercise classes, and we even played racquetball. Very clean and friendly.
