Location: focus was mostly on family
Not much of a traveler in recent years. As a senior, I flew to a family celebration in a distant and unknown city. The motel was convenient, clean and comfortable. The experience of a 'full' breakfast offered was very nice.

Nice retreat from Hurricane Irma

Pros: Cafe was a comfortable place to sit &watch the news, play scrabble, have a drink. Food was good. Customer service excellent.
Location: Restaurants, large shopping area (Village at Sandhill), and downtown Columbia within a short drive.
Arrived at the hotel about 9 PM after escaping from Florida and Hurricane Irma. Warmly greeted by reception desk. Grabbed a quick bite at the hotel cafe and staff there were very welcoming also. Our room was clean and the beds proved to be very comfortable for this weary couple. Between the hurricane and power outages at home this hotel became our home for 6 nights. The hotel is well located with many restaurants within a short drive; not far from downtown Columbia; and the Village at Sandhill, a very large shopping area is within a short drive also. This hotel was accepting pets; all were well behaved, and despite the deluge of guests and pets, the hotel was extremely well maintained. The lounge area with TV, computers and fireplace was a great place to relax, as well as the pool area and fire pit. All of the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, and concerned about our well-being. They made this traumatic experience less stressful.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly, especially Gail at the front desk. The breakfast was typical for this hotel chain. I always love the freshly baked cookies.

This hotel was definitely not up to Hampton inn standards. It was not very clean. The staff was very nice though.

Comfortable and friendly employees

My husband and I were in town for a tennis tournament. This hotel was very close to everything we had to do. The employees were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Check in was quick and easy. I was very satisfied with this hotel, and I'd be happy to stay here again.

Nice hotel in the middle of horse country.

Pros: It's comfortable and everything is close by.
Cons: It would be helpful if there were maps of the area and of Downtown Aiken.
The hotel is close to all amenities. The staff from the Front Desk to Housekeeping were friendly and helpful.
