The views of the bay are magnificent. It’s a fair walk and rather uphill from Airlie, so pretty much a cab back every day, but was generally less than 10 bucks. Nice pool area with BBQ facilities as are common in Aus communal areas (the park next to the Lido has them too) - imagine them lasting 5 minutes in the UK! Friendly staff and a really spacious apartment, balcony…absolutely lovely.

The apartment we booked off reviews was marketed as a luxury facility, however, this was not the case. It had all the basic amenities one would expect from a self catering apartment, so that was fine, although the property had not been well maintained. The walls were badly marked or damaged in all areas, the carpets and curtains in the bedrooms had significant staining or discolouration, and one of the airvents in the main living space was falling out of the wall. The remote supplied to control the A/C in the main living space didn't control it or any of the apartments other A/C units, so not sure why it was supplied. The tops of the fans in the rooms hadn't been cleaned in quite possibility all the years the building has been operational, displaying a disgusting, thick build up of visible dust. There was also obvious dust on the tops of door frames and some window ledges. The bathrooms were better, though the floors did have areas of mildew and the shower heads could use replacing as they sprayed water in various directions from holes that shoudn't exist. We were supposed to have a room with a king size bed in it, instead we had two single beds pushed together. Hardly an example of luxury accomodation. That said, the sheets were clean and the two mattresses were comfortable. We had the apartment inspected and the damaged noted so that we wouldn't be charged for any of it, and asked for it to be recleaned, which it was, five days after we arrived. 3/5 stars is fair.

Property is located in very good location. We got a sea facing apartment which was very well maintained with all the amenities and ample space to accomodate 7 people. Kids loved the pool area. Nicole, the property manager was very friendly and accommodating.

We loved the closeness of the property to town/grocery store/walking routes. The apartment had all the bits and pieces that we needed for a self contained unit but I didn't appreciate having a bath towel with a rip in the middle or a yukky dusty ceiling vent in the bathroom. The managers were most helpful when required. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Airlie Beach - a beautiful part of the world. Thankyou.

Rented a 3 bedroom apartment. A number of rooms locked so didn’t have access to them. It was quite cold and although they said extra linen was provided there was none. We needed an extra blanket at least. Cupboards all locked. Nosy people above.

A lovely property. Our family had to check out of another booking early because of a bad experience, so, finding this available was a blessing and we thoroughly enjoyed the remainder of our stay in Airlie. Wonderful room and amenities, with a stunning view. Highly recommend staying at Azure Sea, have stayed once before and will definitely be back again!

Lovely property and huge apartment. Well equipped and perfect for families. Just be prepared to get travis back to resort if travelling with kids as it's a steep incline getting home. Taxi from town centre only $7-$10 so very affordable. Great price for accommodation also

Crystal Blue Views & so tranquil
The weather was a mild 19-24 C. Perfect for the crysral blue views of the ocean from the balcony and for soakingvup the sun by the pool. The apartment was comfortable, well laid out, good supplies of items in kitchen, candles in bathroom for the bath, plus lounge area and great outdoor lounge and dining table. Balcony had ample space too. The only things I could fault were: no lighter/matches; no bath salts as stated; and a little bit of dust & dirt here and there, but nothing to get upset about. Noise of neighbours can be heard above and through front door too, but overall, great accommodation & experience. I will definitely stay again.

Overall was lovely the view was amazing, pool fantastic, Great kitchen has everything you need. Great free wifi and tv was great!! The furniture in lounge room needs to be updated as very flimsy need new lighting as bedroom had no lampshade just a bulb? Bathroom was ok however the shower was not clean. As for noise...we heard very loud noises above us like furniture moving getting dragged along tiles etc not great was not enjoyable. Definitely NOT soundproof!

We have just had them all professionally cleaned about 2 months ago, and it doesn't take long before they start to get calcified again. That's a shame about the unit above you making so much noise! A spacious units with full kitchen, king size bed, large deck, & gorgeous views of the water. It’s a short walk to the lagoon, shops, restaurants, bars & cafes. Just up hill on the way home, but who cares when you’re in such a beautiful place. We will definitely stay at Azure again.

As advertised. Ocean view apartment, easy check in and out process. Well equipped kitchen, oven, microwave etc making it easy to cook meals. Washing machine and dryer as well. Balcony was large, with tables/ chairs and cushions for an outdoor meal/drink. Living spaces were comfortable, with air conditioning and fans in the living room and bedroom. Bed was Very comfortable, also a walk In robe attached Bathroom - tub and shutters that can be opened to get a view of the bedroom / ocean from the bathroom. Shower was a little old and the shower pressure could be better. No rails to dry towels.

Azure Sea apartments was the perfect location, only a short walk into the main street, but quiet enough to fully relax. Our apartment was clean and very spacious. The view from the balcony is stunning. Only a 10min walk into town and if you dont feel like walking up the hill back (or in our case, raining), its only a $7 taxi ride. The owners are lovely and always contactable.

Nice Spot
I’d recommend hiring a car if you are staying here, as it’s up a big hill - also, you can see more of Airlie Beach with your own transport. Our unit could do with a new sofa & a little update, however the bed in the main bedroom & pillows were really comfy! Great views & the staff onsite were good to deal with.
