Pros: Great location, walk from ferry port.
Cons: Cleaning and front of house staff.
Location: Town near but not far where there is a supermarket, shops, bars etc.
It was our first time to Great Barrier Reef. Mantra House is starting to show typical wear and tear, which with a little attention to detail would make the difference. Noisy air con, rumbling dishwasher from above apt, DVD didn't work, kettle didn't switch off, phone was broken, paint chips on ceiling. Cleaning was a bit of issue, bit of grime around the bath, flies stuck to the light in kitchen. Recommend rooms away from 1st floor 210-218 where you are just above the restaurants and bars!!

Fantastic Location, Peaceful & close to townPosted Oct 28, 2015
Pros: Everything, there is not one thing that could be faulted with this hotel, perhaps one of the best places I have stayed at.
Location: Located directly above coffee club & bottlo & a couple of other restaurants, town 2 min away, beach, lagoon, paddleboarding, woolies, food everything
Well, it started with a boat trip that we were heading on, and werent due to check into the hotel until a couple of days later, the staff, megan was very lovely and helpful, and allowed us to store our bags there until we returned to check into the desk, upon check in we were desperate for a shower, and it was quite warm, so a little of home comforts we were looking forward to, Nikki checked us in, and she was tremendous, fantastic and helpful, we received our room number and directions to get to our room. We've taken the lift to our room, and we were really expecting much, as the rates were quite cheap. And walked in, and it was like a kid walking into a candy shop, the room had a fantastic view of the marina, and was so spacious and fitted with home comforts of a washing machine and dryer and bath that overlooked the marina, both bedrooms had a separate balcony and could enjoy space away, there was plenty of room in the massive fridge to keep food and cook up a feast, and relax in the comfort of air-conditioning. the staff were really helpful and offered pool towels and towels to take away if we were going on a tour or anything. the coffee club and nice restaurants were located downstairs nice and close. the no party policy meant that it was not full of backpackers like in town, which is only just a short walk across the grass away if you wanted to do so some exploring. My mum has a walking stick so cant walk far, but the location was just perfect.

Beautiful water outlookPosted Sep 2, 2015
Pros: The location, view and how modern it was.
Cons: Some servicing, example, new towels every second day, more toilet paper rather than having to head to reception for it.
Location: Very close to shops and restaurants - perfect location.
Had a wonderful stay. Close to the main marina, shops, restaurants, etc.

Great location and viewsPosted Aug 7, 2015 on Lastminute
This is the place we will stay when we visit Airlie. The room is awesome and the location is great. 5 stars! Nothing to fault except a heater in the pool.

Spectacular viewsPosted Aug 6, 2015
Pros: The style of the apartments, the view, the location and the facilities.
Location: On the doorstep of the Marian for trips to the great barrier reef and other islands, a very short walk to the sea adventure course and the main street
What a beautiful setting! Nothing could beat sitting on your balcony watching the marina, sea, islands and hills. The layout of the apartment made the most of the wonderful views. The apartments were in an excellent location, close enough to the biz of Airlie Beach but much quieter. They were very well equipped and ideal for couples or families.

Beautifully quiet but close to everything!Posted Aug 1, 2015
Excellent quiet position but very close to the livelier parts of Airlie Beach so you get the best of both worlds! Pool area was lovely to relax in with a pool that was perfect for swimming and rarely used whilst we were there. Apartments were very well equipped and all have a sea view.

Apartment with beautiful ocean & marina viewsPosted Jul 29, 2015 on Wotif
We were a party of six adults in a 3 bedroom apartment for an overnight stay. Every bedroom had it's own private balcony with the master having the ocean view, private en-suite with a huge bath, double vanity & King size bed. All bedding was very comfortable including the pillows. The apartment also has a huge balcony (marina view) with outdoor setting for 6. Overall the apartment was very clean & spacious, huge fridge/freezer, well appointed with beautiful furnishings. Coffee Club & bottle shop on premises. Security car parking. Walking distance to the heart of Airlie & beach (safe walking into town at night with a paved & well lit walkway). Short drive to Whitsunday airport (skydive) & Shute Harbour (boating to Islands etc.) We were all very happy with our accommodation & would return again.
