Typical bit out of the way for Notre damePosted Jul 4, 2017
Cons: Almost everything
Location: One night stay so had no chance
Not fair to be critical as renovations taking place. In its current state a bit run down. Food good.

Functional Hotel close To MotorwayPosted May 28, 2017
Perfectly adequate hotel close to the motorway. Functional but looking a little tired. Bit too far from the attractions of Laon to get to without getting back in the car. Indeed no pavements on the roads around the hotel to allow you to walk anywhere in safety although there are a couple of eateries nearby which can be reached on quiet side roads. Did not try the restaurant at the hotel for dinner but had breakfast which was fine for the €9.90 charged. Staff friendly but seemed stretched with only one person present both on check-in and check-out. Would stay again but maybe find a hotel closer to the centre to have easier access to the amazing delights of the hilltop centre of Laon itself.

Perfect pit-stopPosted Feb 15, 2017 on Ebookers
Left work, drove to Eurotunnel and then drove 2 more hours to Laon. Perfect pit-stop on our way to Austria. Looking forward to stopping there on the way home.

Convenient stopover off the A26.Posted Jun 16, 2016
Pros: Secure parking. Locked overnight.
Cons: Renovate the rooms.
Location: Located on the outskirts of town. It took 45 minutes to walk in through very dull suburbs with very steep climb at the end. Interesting historic town
Very tired small room. Comfortable bed. Interesting town, 45 minutes walk through very dull suburbs.

Super break en route to skiPosted Mar 14, 2016 on Ebookers
We are really and joyed staying at the hotel campanile. Laon was just right for a stop over on our way to Chamonix. The visit to the cathedral was most enjoyable. A super little town and The restaurant at the hotel did us proud.

Good hotel for a comfortable nights sleepPosted Oct 10, 2015
Pros: The hotel is easy to find. The beds are very comfortable and you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. The parking is secure at night.
Location: Laon has a very interesting old city to visit.
Was welcomed by the hotel manager. It is very useful that reception is manned until 11p.m. Good choice at the buffet and efficient service. It is always a plus to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
