Great hotel, great location - in need of some love

Posted Jul 5, 2017
Pros: The location - beautiful setting and views. Very quiet with only the sound of the sea to break the silence. Waking up to views of the sea.
Cons: The owners / management need to care more about the hotel, look after it more and give it some more atmosphere.
Location: Beautiful beaches within a short drive. Ajaccio is close by also.
Can't fault the hotel's location - beautiful setting, on the water overlooking Les Iles Sanguinaires and Ajaccio. We learnt from friends on the island that the owner had passed away and the current owners are not interested in running a hotel. This is quite clear, which is a shame because the hotel could be amazing. The staff are all friendly and helpful, everything is kept clean and tidy - the chambermaids and the gardeners work very hard. The current owners / managers do not. With a bit of love and care, this hotel would be great. New ownership / management is needed.

Dolphin watch!

Super hotel, private beach, nice pool, swim in the med, spot dolphins from your balcony, really nice staff (who appreciate it when they see that you're trying your best to speak French), incredible views. What is not to love!

Very nice

Beautiful facility on the outskirts of Ajaccio. Highly recommended but €30.00 supplement for a dog is excessive. Breakfast was €24.00 per person and not worth it.

Lovely hotel!

Posted Sep 3, 2012 on Hotels
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dolce Vita. We had a junior suite which was very large and comfortable and opened out to a sun terrace and directly down to the private beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our only slight negative was that on one evening the restaurant seemed to have a very limited choice. Many of the dishes listed were unavaillable, including two from the day's recommendations! Overall an excellent hotel though.

situation exceptionnelle panorama superbe !

Posted Oct 3, 2016
