The breakfast needs to have more waffle/pancake making stations. Waiting on staff to make waffles for people takes too long. Staff gets upset when you make your own because they were gone for 10 minutes. The pool towels need to be bigger. The towels that are currently there are great for toddlers but not adult swimmers.

I stayed in a King room on the 4th floor and it was lovely: clean, spacious, comfortable, in good condition. The woman at the desk was enjoyable. Cuyahoga Gorge Metro Park is 5 minutes away and provided a nice break and chance to stretch my legs. I would stay at this hotel again.

Property seemed to be newly renovated. Rooms were very clean. Water pressure in bathtub/shower was great. We found the bed very high off the ground.. Difficult for a senior to climb on the bed. Otherwise, the room was fine. Breakfast was horrible. Of all the hotels we have booked in the past that included breakfast, this was the worst. No milk, only soya. No regular bread for toast, just bagels. Ran out of coffee. Took 25 minutes to make new brew. Had crock pot for oatmeal. But when we lifted the lid, no oatmeal was made.

This is my 2nd stay here and i still love the property! The staff members are all incredibly kind and patient. I got an upgrade to a king suite again and the stay was lovely. The only thing was, they didn't have a playpen available this time, so my daughter who's 2 had a hardtime sleeping thru the night. But the lady at the front desk reassured me that it usually doesn't happen often, where multiple families request a crib.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was only average. The hotel has construction/ renovation going on in lobby and hallways, but the room was finished and acceptable. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. A good value for the price.

The staff were very nice and helpful (heating up some food for us when the room microwave kept blowing the surge protector). It would have been nice to know they were requiring a deposit prior but we had not issues with that. There was major remodeling happening but everything was picked up and clean. Very close to lots of food options and 10 minute drive to Akron campus.

The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because some ammenties are closed due to construction. This was not noted on their website. The fitness center and laundry are closed. We were not told upon check in either. Got up and ready for workout at 5AM to find it. Staff was very personable. Rooms very clean. Had a king suite. Will stay again.

I called to ask if they had a roll in crib for my toddler, which they did not, however, Nate the employee on duty that i spoke with was very kind and helpful. He mentioned that they had a pack n' play which we could use and it worked for the night 😊 He also told us to book the most affordable room and he would personally upgrade us to king bed suite which has a separate bedroom and a living area which had a pull out couch due to the renovations going on. We were very pleased to hear that. When my husband checked in, they asked for an ID and a credit/debit card. They did charge for a $100 deposit which was refunded within 2 days after check out 🤗 Check in and check out were both fast and simple. The only flaw was some noise in the morning due to renovations, and the gas station down the street had some questionable characters, but that has nothing to do with the property.

I enjoyed walking into the warm inviting lobby! It was bitter cold outside and there was a nice gas fire going in the lobby. There was a coffee station and fresh oranges and bananas. Check in was smooth and the clerk friendly. There were some renovations going on but getting around was easy. We had upgraded the kind of room we normally reserve to a small suite so we had a comfortable sofa and lounge chair with small kitchen area (microwave and fridge) to visit with our granddaughter and her friend that afternoon in a room separate from our bedroom. It was perfect and only $10 more. The TVs in both rooms were large (50 in) flat screen tvs with clear pictures. The bedroom was quite comfortable. The only complaint was a lack of amenities in the room. It was almost like housekeeping forgot to really finish stocking the room. No soap for bathtub; no full roll of TP (just two partial rolls); no notepad, pen or pencil, room tv channel guide, information about hotel offerings (ie pool or breakfast hours, fitness location and hours and other services available.) Ever question had to be directed to the hotel front desk. Otherwise, we had a very pleasant visit and would recommend it for travelers. (Just pack extra bathroom supplies!)

Property under renovation. Our renovated room was very nice except for a rather loud HVAC unit. Breakfast was somewhat lacking in quality and hot food item variety. Otherwise, we do recommend this location and plan to use it again in the future!

The rooms were renovated very recently. They were up to date and nice. The towel hook situation needs to be addresses. They could at least put one on the back of the door. The hooks in the living area were used for coats plus they are far away from the shower. The whole suite was new but they kept the old shower surround, I applaud the concern for ecological impact but it did detract from the overall wow. The staff was terrific!!!!!!

Checkin was very slow. Too much chit chat with guests. 20m later we got checked in and the host indicates that "you probably heard me check in the other guest". SMH. Temp in room was not controllable, water went out for five hours and noisy at times from renovation work. Breakfast food was very low quality, but edible. On a plus side, coffee was good. Not a great stay, at all. Disappointed.

In our experience, this hotel was very clean, there was a great breakfast bar and coffee, the staff was friendly, and it had been recently updated like new. However, we are giving four stars because the walls seemed paper thin. We could not only hear the television from the adjacent room, and we could hear another couple fighting throughout the night. We would stay again, but would ask for a room not close to others if possible.
