Hotel would not issue a refund for 1 day stay after our flights were cancelled.

Everything is good except the front desk

Pros: clean, food good , good amenities
Cons: The front desk need to be a lot better it is mediocre
Everything is good except the front desk. The front desk is so bad that we thought about changing the Hotel the first day , but after deciding to give it a chance and to stay away from the front desk we had a good experience

Awesome pools, confortable rooms. Very good food.

Very nice resort, with plenty of things to do. The beach is beautiful, the food is very good as well. Rooms are large and very comfortable, gardens and facilities are in very good shape.

The resort is huge and immaculately maintained.

The resort is 2nd to none, the food and restaurants are great, being our 1st all inclusive I cannot compare quality, however everything seemed very good. The swimming pools and water park are amazing for families. On site extras can be expensive, however I assume this is normal at all inclusive resorts.

Too big for its own good!

Pros: The shuttles were a pain to catch, it was too large. Too many people EVERYWHERE, no free wifi, no AC.
Cons: AC, free wifi, more shuttles
Location: Xcaret and cenotes
Here is a breakdown of our stay two boys ages 8 and 10yrs Location: The hotel is about 30 minutes from PDC and 90 minutes from Cancun. Coba is part of a major complex that requires shuttling to other sister hotels on the complex. Coba is a five minute shuttle ride to the beach (once you get the shuttle which can be a long wait). For clarity, beach in not visible from any part of the Coba hotel. The beach at Tulum Hotel is terribly crowded with people elbow to elbow. Pools were big with one super busy and one quiet. Food: The food is standard all inclusive quality. The amount of fresh food being prepared is minimal. Most foods seem to be pre packaged and set out in buffet style. The variety is very large and there was always fresh fruit and salad available. Note-the main buffet restaurant is massive, crowded and not air conditioned. This made for some unbearable meals when you couldn't find a table under a ceiling fan. Drinks: The drinks only offer pre-mixed flavorings. No fresh fruits or ingredients are used for drink making. Hotel Room: Hotel rooms are standard. Our roof leaked from the air conditioning but we just put towels down and dealt with it. The AC worked decently. It never fully cooled off but a large ceiling fan above the bed that made it okay. Wifi: Free in the lobby which has tons of people everywhere and sweltering heat. SLOW speeds. Note: The teen room has ping pong, pool table, basketball court-No AC. The mosquitos are HORRIBLE and EVERYWHERE!

Pretty hotel, beautiful grounds

The stayover all is OK. The staff was inconsistent. We had multiple rooms for a large family group. Our dinner options at the à la cart restaurants were very slim due to our large group. They had us order of a different menu and we all had to order the same thing.

Excellent staff , perfect for the family with kids

The service is great. We could eat in the buffet as many times we wanted in the day. There was constant transportation to all the places we needed to go in the hotel. The activities that were provided for everyone were amazing and fun. The shows are extraordinary. The rooms are very big and comfortable. The beds are a bit hard but not too bad that you can't sleep on them. The only concern that I have is about the service in the rental area. I rented a jet ski at the time they said it was available but then they never delivered in giving me the jet ski. They said that there were going to be too many waves. If they knew that there were going to be waves then why did they rent it to us at that time?? At least we got our money back . Over all everything was great and there was great service. Our stay was super fun and exciting.

horrible experience staying with Bahia Principe Co

our toom had a massive leak of water from the ceiling due to rain, the whole room floor had puddle of water. after repeatedly calling guest services, they kept on ignoring it until i had to personally go and explain seriousness of problem to the front desk. They finally changed the room in the evening, i.e. after wasting one whole day of our vacation in just following up with them. Guest relations manager was ignorant and rude. will stay away from this hotel chain in future, after ending vacation nightmare there.

Beautiful hotel, the landscape is perfect.

The hotel appearance is beautiful. The pools were very clean and not overly crowded. plenty of space to swim. The beach was pretty. There was a lack of consistency with the front desk. Our room had a horrible smell the first day.
