I was so excited to stay here and end the trip on a high note. Not the case, room was not good, terrible bed and pillows, no mattress cover and no air conditioning. The room was directly beside the pool so you could hear everything including the room right beside us. We could hear everyone word and the children. The food was ok dinner not good as I found chicken bones in my nachos Yike and I struggled to eat my dinner after that. We asked to move seats at the beginning of dinner as there were so many ants and when I mean so many there was a net down below and I was told no they won’t hurt you. And when we went to bed all we heard was dogs barking and fighting all night and never slept. On top of the plane taking off, the planes may have been the easiest part of the stay. I highly recommend staying away from this hotel. Waterfall was pretty but the hike was tough so next time I’m staying at Hilton or Marriott. That way the standards are controlled better. Breaks my heart we really wanted to stay locally and enjoy our last day. Makes me super sad. A waste of money as it was extremely expensive and not enjoyable experience. Never again

Beautiful villas set among lush tropical gardens with views overlooking Alajuela and airport. Attentive an courteous staff, beautiful surroundings and comfortable villas made our stay an enjoyable. The restaurant offers excellent choices of fine dining with superb service. Gracias for a loverly 2 night stay.

Great location and resort, beautifully kept and maintained! Very friendly and courteous staff, gorgeous view over San Jose from the patio restaurant for breakfast and Dinner! Only 30 Min drive from the San Jose Airport! Only issue we had during our one night stay was no hot water in our villa!
