There was a power outage when we arrived No fault of theirs, but it was pitch black in the hallways, building and outside. Would have appreciated a heads up and flashlights. I’m sure there’s some contingency plans for when that happens

We liked that the property is all by itself making it quiet. Our room was clean.The interior of our room was lacking, wall paper adhesive remains on the walls - looks sloppy. We were in a handicap room with walk in shower that was impossible not to have water going all over the bathroom floor. Breakfast was what you would expect - the staff was very good & attentive. We requested an early departure - due to weather - that was handled without any issues. No terrible, just needs some attention to details. Thank you.

The only reason I didn’t give an excellent rating was due to the WiFi/internet access. Ir was ridiculous. I had to restart, log off, log back on my devices. Very frustrating when I needed it for business and communication. Otherwise, a good stay.

The property is alone with empty lots around it that were not nice. The breakfast is important to us, and this had the minimum of hot options but there was no fruit. We were unlucky to have noisy neighbors and we could hear much of the arguing.

The hotel in general was wonderful, staff was very polite when I checked in and she even suggested a few attractions in the area. Bed was very comfortable. One issue is your fitness center. The equipment is very outdated and not all functional. Space is also tight if more than 1 or 2 people are there and no room to do stretching. For someone who goes to a gym on a regular basis this was disappointing.

Have always enjoyed staying at this facility in the past. This time I ran into a few issues because we live within 35 mi of the establishment. In addition to the payment for the hotel which we did via Expedia they required $100 cash deposit. I did not have cash on me in the ATM that I was using was not working with my card. It could have been because I was a little flustered and entering a wrong PIN number. The clerk could see my frustration and said that she would see what she could do and contacted her manager. That was good because I hate to pay $6 for trying to get some cash on me. They did take my card however for incidental use. I believe this money was on a temporary hold and refunded promptly. I was a little cut off guard I got to say because of this whole episode. It is unfortunate that they had to come to this because of people trashing out their rooms. It's hard to be judged on others. We are business owners in the San Luis valley and also work with the castilla county and Colorado fire departments. It all ended well and it was nice to have a very hot shower and a very comfortable bed. Customer service was excellent in our clerk did all she could do to ease this process. It is conveniently located near a movie theater and other eating establishments. Just be prepared to have at least $150 extra for any damage or incidentals. They have a nice small pool and a hot tub which we forgot to bring our suits to. We will return in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I am not a stickler for fancy but I am for cleanliness. Our room was spotless! I am not a fan of stray hair...I always check. Not a one! Bed was super comfy. There was a fragrance on the bedspread...was nice but a tad strong. We stayed for 3 nights...after the first night the scent wasnt as strong. Breakfast was alright...Go early if you want options. Our bathroom did not have a tub but had a large shower and the water stayed nice and hot!! Staff was so nice! I accidentally dropped my frappuccino by the vending machine (felt horrible for making such a mess)...staff was quick to assist and said it was no problem... Great price for what you're getting. We will stay again when in the area! Recommend!

Was super upset. Came into town for a night away to recharge and couldn't get the heat to work on 8 degree night the TV didn't work and housekeeping just helps themselves to open your door. Was told maintenance would come check out TV and heater and never showed
