No Clean Towels During a 2 Night StayPosted Oct 19, 2015
My wife, and daughter, and I stayed here for 2 nights so we could visit the Sand Dunes and a few other local attractions, like the Alligator Farm, and the UFO Watchtower. The beds were comfortable, and the room offered a small refrigerator/freezer which worked well, as well as a microwave. The room was not cleaned very well before we arrived. There were potato chips on the floor close to the bed frame. Upon returning to our room after visiting the Sand Dunes, we were expecting to see the standard housekeeping services completed in our room on the 2nd day. However, the only thing they did was leave us a new mini bottle of shampoo and mini bar of soap. They did not replace our dirty towels, or make the beds, or anything else. It was surprising. Also, our room key stopped working after 1 day, because the guy who checked us in only programmed it for a one night stay instead of 2. This was an inconvenience for us as we had to go to the check in desk late at night on our 2nd day there, and summon him from the back office to come out and reprogram our room keys so they would work for the rest of our stay. He tried telling us the room keys may have been de-programmed by touching something else, rather than admitting that he didn't do his job correctly.

alamosa,co..college town gem!Posted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: the Days Inn in Alamosa was clean&cheap, including a great hotel staff, with a free breakfast too!
Cons: for the price of a room at the Days INN n Alamosa,co.not a whole lot can be improved that hasnt already been addressed.
Location: It should be noted that the Days Inn-Alamosa is located on the East side of the RioGrande river, thus meaning its on the east side of town.
On sep.25th,2015,my son&I visited Adams State U.(ASU) in Alamosa, colorado, and we stayed at the Days Inn. At our check-in, our room assigned to us(#214) was stinky, i requested another room immediatly, and it was granted! we had no issues after that, everything about our visit to ASU,and the Days Inn, went smoothly..alamosa is an awesome little college town, and everyone I spoke to confirmed my initial feelings...that this is the school and community for us! ...looking forward to a return visit..go Mean Moose& go Grizz!!

Nothing extra, seemed clean, but the room kinda smelled. Breakfast was fine, coffee was good, brewed, not machine coffee.

I've stayed in this hotel several times now. I have real estate dealings in the area. Its a clean room at a decent price. There isn't any frills. No pool, no hot tub. But you get a free breakfast. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Place is quiet and you can't beat the $10 dog fee. If you are just looking for a clean quiet place to recharge at a decent price. You could do a lot worse.
