Was amused about the cleanliness of the room I was worried before I got here but once here I was very pleased and thankful for the effort they put into making my stay worth returning.

Nice for the price

Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom could use a touch up. Not a remodel, but drywall had been patched in poor fashion. Needs to be repaired and repainted
Location: Preferred location in Albany. Near the Mall, restaurants, etc.
Check in went well. Somehow had booked a smoking room but clerk placed me in a nonsmoking at same price. Hotel was priced well and as expected. Not an upscale hotel but clean with most amenities.

Nice motel near mall and restaurants

Clean and convenient, no complaints at all. Room decor great, looked like recent upgrades done to the motel.

Didn't like that they gave us a handicap room. Should have told us when we made the reservation.

Old Property in need of replacement

Pros: The staff was very nice, very proffessional and eager to help if and when asked. Their atttitude was that of staff from a 5 star hotel.
Cons: Re Build
Location: Food and shopping close by. Very safe and quiet area
The Staff was great! However, it went downhill from there. The property, while owning a brand new paint job, is old and WELL used. The floor in my room was sagging in the middle, and very creaky. Thin walls allowed slamming doors to startle even me who stays in Hotels very frequently. I think this structure has served its purpose, and needs to be taken down to make room for a new building.

Overpriced hotel

Front desk wouldn't tell me if my aarp,aaa or other discounts applied. Wouldn't tell me what I paid. Breakfast was a joke.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. This reservation was made through and paid to Expedia directly. Expedia is an online travel agent that does not share the price that you paid with the hotel. There would not be anyway for us here to inform you in relations to your payment to Expedia. When you made your reservation there should've a receipt emailed to you or simply give them a call to find what discounts you received. Our breakfast is continental breakfast, not a hot bar but you have many choices, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, grits, pastries, waffle , sausage biscuits, coffee, juice, and more. Once again thank you for sharing.

Smoking smell in room

The location is great & room was clean but there was a smoke smell in a non-smoking room. When I reported it to the staff, I expected to be moved to a better room but staff was like, oh well. Not the best customer service. The room was nice except for the smell. We ended up going to buy Lysol freshener to cloak the smell.
