smelly dirty room

Posted Apr 18, 2017
Pros: Not a single thing.
Cons: Just close it down. There's nothing you can do.
Don't stay here. Worst experience of my life. I have no words for just how bad this place is. I hope the message is clear for you all.

Thank you for being a kind staff

Posted Apr 1, 2017
Pros: Easy commute to my work, clean, GREAT staff and good food at the hotel pub.
Cons: The beds need to be replaced for sure.
Location: My job..lol
I was pretty stressed and just needed a room for the night. I accidentally ordered a handicap access so she upgraded me a king size suite and told me if I needed any thing (toothbrush, etc) to let her know. She was so very kind. I then went to the hotel bar and Marshall the bartender was awesome. Food was very good; a real burger cooked to perfection. The room was very clean and the cleaning staff I saw in the hallway was very polite. My only gripe would be the beds seem old. But other than that I slept very well and when I woke up the new front desk was also very kind. Made a really tough 24 hours much easier :) You are close to my office so I will definitely stay there again I am sure. Thank you!

It was too noisy at a point that is very annoying

Posted Mar 21, 2017
Pros: Nothing is really worth for mention.
Cons: The management needs to check on everything in its operation, especially the so call manager at night.
Location: The location of the hotel is ok.
We were disappointed this time on a long weekend stay because it was noisy at night right next to our room. we did called the management but with no help. The room clean service is not well done at all. The night manager is not friendly. the morning shower is cold water. Our stay in this hotel was not enjoyable, however.

Stay somewhere else.

Posted Mar 21, 2017
No one was there to check us in when we arrived. Waited 5 minutes for someone. Unimpressed with the building. Bed comforter was stained.

Dear J, Rest assured that I have addressed this with our Front Desk Associates. This should not have happened. Our associate was most likely assisting another guest when you checked in.Your feedback is valuable and will be used to improve our service. We hope that you will stay with us again in the future. Sincerely, Gil General Manager

Okay hotel. They could do better if they tried.

Posted Mar 15, 2017
This was an okay room for the money spent. The first thing that I noticed upon entering room was that about half of the lamps where missing light bulbs. Second, the window frame was rough looking, and it was obvious why they tried to hide it with the curtains, and the desk in front of it. A member of the hotel maintenance came into my room without identifying who he was or that he was from the hotel, to check to see if the bathroom plumbing was still leaking. I will not stay at this hotel again.

The black hole of Calcutta

Posted Feb 25, 2017
Pros: We survived the food and didn't get bedbugs.
Cons: Everything. For a large chain, it seemed like a cheap, failing small-time two-bit hotel, run by amateurs.
Location: We were told it was 8 miles to the nearest restaurants, so had no choice but to eat in the bar/restaurant in the hotel, which was ok for pub food.
Our room( #208) had a "window" with a pitch-black "view" of a "black hole": an inner cavern of ducts and heaven knows what else, and no view or access to the outside. If there had been a fire or other emergency, we would have fried like marshmallows at a campfire, because no one would have been able to get at us. There could have been fumes or other bad air coming from that inner chamber that could have harmed us. We were there 1 night, otherwise we would not have accepted that room, and when we told the ladies at the desk on check-out that it was disgraceful to rent a room like that without a window to the outside, the ladies seemed (pretended?) not to know that there was such a room and asked us if we wanted to speak to their manager (whom we never saw, just young women there), but we declined, as we had to hit the road. Also, at breakfast, the fruit bin had only two rotten oranges in it -- yuk! Best Western needs to inspect their hotels often -- we'll never stay in a Best Western again.

Dear Retired Couple, Our sincere apologies for not meeting your expectations. Rest assured that room 208 is a safe room. There are no fumes coming out since what is behind the room is just a storage area. It does not have any view indeed. We would have been more than happy to give you another room. I am very surprised to read that you were told that the closet restaurant was 8 miles away. There are half a dozen restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Sincerely,
