The first one they sent me in the key card didn’t work the second one they sent me in it was filthy the third room was a little better the entire third floor of the hallway smelled of weed the bed is completely uncomfortable the world stay at a hotel I have ever had.

I liked the price and the people at check-in and check-out were nice. I had stayed at the property a long time ago, and it looks like nothing has been updated. The door deadbolt did not work, the room had lots of little problems: hooks from a missing picture, missing screws on top of a lamp, carpet tiles in closet coming up... besides the deadbolt, everything else was just "little things" that added up. Being a solo male, I wasn't too worried about the deadbolt, but even I shoved a chair under the door handle just in case... it seemed that sketchy.

The room was not very clean and outdated. There was blood spatter in the bathroom. The pillows were very small and the bed was not very comfortable. The location isn't bad; it's right across the street from the University of Albany.

This place is a dump, mouse/rat poop in the hallways, someone's used floss in the elevator, fruit flies in the rooms, tv remote didn't work, got a call about a noise complaint when I was literally lying in bed. Do NOT stay here

Offered as an efficiency, didn’t have coffee pot, all dishes were in dishwasher covered in mold. Was told they don’t offer dishes since Covid. Wasn’t offered another room. Canceled and didn’t stay.

The place was filthy, the desk clerk that checked us in kept us waiting a long time she was somewhat polite. When we discovered the roaches in our room & went to the desk it was a different woman…she was outside smoking pot! I will never stay here or recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was very nice and front staff was great. I think it’s an older hotel so they don’t have proper air circulation in the bathroom and there was a musty smell in the whole room. I’m not 100% what is was but the smell was off. Also they provided plates and stuff for the kitchen but they were dirty from the last people that used them. I didn’t need them honestly but It was still something. The bed was super comfy and the room itself was great size for how much I spent.

From the condition of the filthy parking lot to the total apathy of the front desk clerk,this place needs a total renovation.. Stayed there 2 years ago and it wasn't that bad..Never again..

This is our second stay at Cresthill Suites and both times it has not been clean. We chose this particular hotel because of the convenient location to UAlbany and most importantly, the kitchenette. Each time, I have had to clean the space. So disappointing.

The room was dirty and smelled moldy, no soap, there was blood on the sheets. I slept in my car. When checked out staff could care less, even after I showed picture of the sheet and soap dispenser.

Bearing in mind the price per night, what one gets staying at CrestHill Suites is very decent. The place could use some upgrades, but overall, it is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, they clearly care about the place, and having a working kitchenette—even if it is looking a bit tired—is a plus. Due to Covid, there isn't anything in terms of a breakfast, but they have good coffee. One note: my first stay was in a first floor room in an area where there had been a recent fire and water damage. That was not a nice stay—the room was damp and musty, and smelled of smoke. Two later visits, my room was on the third floor, and nothing but nice things to say about those two stays.

This place is a dump. Dirty, missing cups, only 3 towels, no soap, running toilet all night, wild party at 3am, and Hotels.com did nothing. So I plan on continuing using Choice Privileges. Awesome hotels, nicely done rooms, clean, and more

The bathroom was filthy. Caked up dust in the corners of the floor in the bathroom and on top of the hair dryer. There were stains of something that was spilled or splashed on the walls in the bathroom and nobody cleaned it up. Thank God I brought my own Clorox cleanup and sprayed down the bathroom and tub before we used it.

Hotel common areas /main halls and the outside property of hotel were dirty! Main hall smelled like cigarette even thgh it was a non smoking section of hotel. Some remodeling or repairs were being done. Carpet ripped up. Everything dirty. Cleanliness of my own room was average. Other customers in hotel were very loud until almost 2a.

Not what we expected
The staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter forgot her blanket in the room after we checked out. I called the hotel and explained what happened. They called me back once the blanket was found and held it for my older daughter, who is a student at UAlbany, until she came to pick it up. The outside appearance of the hotel is run down, garbage was piled up in the outside garbage can, the hotel itself wasn't as clean as expected and there was a smell I could not describe in the facility itself as well as our room. It wasn't terrible, it was just acceptable. Hoping when we return to see our daughter in October it will be better.

Room was so dirty we left within 10 minutes and rented a room in a different hotel. Rug was not vacuumed. Toilet bowl was not cleaned and had stains in it. Absolutely horrible.

The room was dirty and lacked the amenities promised. No coffeemaker makes for a cranky morning. When I inquired about the missing coffeemaker I was met with "well you were supposed to have one".... Our room was not cleaned when we left the next day and came back. We had to ask for clean towels and were told that we had to wait because they were all being laundered. Customer service was poor and the room quality was just as dissatisfying.

This worked out well for us to arrive at late to break up a drive to southern New England with our teenage son. Easy to find from I90 and quick checkin even after midnight. We heard there was a breakfast included but did not see it on our way out so went to the nearby Dunkin Donuts. It was obvious this was an 80's era hotel only because plugs were few and far between in the room with no USB ports evident and there was a trash compactor in the kitchen area of our room.

Convenient location, comfortable, and quiet.
Worked well for our visit, we were visiting our freshman student at Albany. Price was good, room was fine, and location was ideal. Nothing fancy but everything we needed. There was a full kitchen in room which we will utilize more on future trips. We will definitely stay again next time we are there to visit our student.

The hotel was a bit dated. The bathroom was not the cleanest we’ve stayed at and we had to ask for more toilet paper. ( Less than a 1/4 roll was in the room. Bed was comfortable. Hallway floor looked like it needed a good scrubbing. No breakfast served. Convenient location next to Dunkin Donuts. Best feature was the nicest lady behind the check in counter. Extremely personable.

Hotel was conveniently located across the street from the university. That said, the room furnishings were outdated and worn. Kitchenette and bathroom were clean but worn out and dingy. The pillows on the bed were horrible, felt as though they were filled with cotton balls. Not worth the price.

Absolutely disgusting hotel, and I have stayed in some sketchy places. The staff was rude and unaccommodating, our room was so unclean I felt disgusting sleeping in the bed and did not even touch the grimy kitchenette. The hallways were filled with trash and parts of the floor were missing. There was even a room down the hall from us that was missing portions of the wall, so you can see into the room.

Nothing was unique. The room was decent for what it was but needed a set of dishes, glasses not just a random plate and cup. The rg was dusty and the shampoo, conditioner was in some cheap packages. There was no soap for the sink nor for the dishwasher..
