Pros: The staff was very professional and friendly.
Cons: The carpet could be updated, but the bed was very comfortable and the overall unit was clean.
Location: Retired from here and was visiting for my birthday.
Our room had not been clean, however, the staff jumped into action and gave us a choice of three rooms to select.

"Breakfast" was inedible. Little pastries wrapped in plastic, artificial "cream" for the coffee. I walked down the street to Dunkin Donuts. If you have business at SUNY, this place is cheap and convenient.

Convenience

Convenient. Able to check in and drop stuff off before going to work. Oatmeal is great breakfast, but something else healthier would be great. The granola bars are too sugary for my taste (maybe something with more protein?)

Service was good, clean room. Pillows need to be replaced more often, were very old and flat my only issue had to ask for extras.

Great business trip hotel

Location: Close to the highway
If you are traveling for work and need to get work done on the road this is the place to stay. Easy to get to, rooms are big enough to spread out in and get work done.

Could be better and more comfortable

Location: Location is ok if you like to stay to yourself. Make sure you stock up on food as well. Everything is driving distance.
Room was very cozy. Heater/AC worked great. The room could have had less dust bunnies and cobb webs. The shower rod was coming off its hinges. They need better pillows.

Won't be returning

Pros: It was a decent price
Cons: Housekeeping being more consistent and coming at a reasonable hour, cleanliness in the hall (i.e., taking care of the constant marijuana smell)
This was disappointing to say the least. The staff seemed to have an attitude of indifference towards guests. The housekeeping was inconsistent, not coming at all one day then knocking on the door at 8AM the next. The room was clean but the bed very uncomfortable. The hallway seemed to always smell like weed.

I apologize for the hallway odor you encountered and if our housekeeping services were not explained thoroughly. Extended Stay Hotels provides housekeeping services based on a guest’s length of stay. Housekeeping services are provided once a week for guests who stay eight nights or more. For guests staying less than a week and for guests who desire additional housekeeping services, we offer the opportunity to purchase full housekeeping or refresh services for a nominal fee. In addition, we always offer upon request, complimentary exchange service at the front desk for items such as towels, bed linens, and soap. We will use your comments to coach our team to provide better communication of our services in the future. We would love to have another chance to provide you with a better experience at our hotel the next time you're in town.
