They put me into room with OLD AC, So noisy I had to shut off! Outside which Blocked my window was Huge machines that ran the inner workings of the hotel!! Also very noisy and high pitched humming All Night! I called to have my room switched, but could not. I had to put pillow over my head to finally sleep after 3 hours!!! Of trying. They should NOT Rent this room! Horrible

When we arrived, the desk staff was unfriendly. When we arrived to our room, we noticed that there was no shampoo or lotion. When we inquired, they just said--'all we have is conditioner'. We went to use the exercise room: the peloton, elliptical and both of the two treadmills were broken. Even the medicine balls were broken. When we checked out, there was coffee and hot water near the registratio desk. Coincidentally or not, the hot water was cold. Just a final indication of a pathetic stay.

The sports bar is missing a good menu variety the service is horrible. Since this restaurant is servecing the visitors that come to the Albany Medical Center should have better food & service for the visitors there. Really bad quality food & service.

I generally like Hilton Garden Inns and they are usually my first choice when traveling. However, I didn't care for this one and won't stay there again. Unlike most other Hilton Garden Inns, this really wasn't a "garden-style" hotel. It was a high-rise with underground parking. The lobby wasn't on the first floor. You had to take an elevator up to the second floor to check in. And you had to use your room key to access floors. It was also in a congested area. None of these qualities are positives, for me. Despite all of that, upon entering I was pleased to find a Starbucks conveniently located in the same building -- on the first floor, as well as a restaurant. But my pleasure quickly turned to disappointment my first morning when I went to the Starbucks at opening time, only to find an employee sitting on the floor, locked outside, because whoever was supposed to open had overslept and wouldn't be arriving for another hour and a half. As for the restaurant that was on the first floor, it was basically a sports bar with a limited menu of food that turned out to be mediocre, at best. But, I guess when you're traveling and tired, it'll do in a pinch.

Weird housekeeping
Staff was nice at front desk but finding the parking lot was difficult because the hotel is attached to a hospital and its parking lot. Convenient food options and CVS around the corner. Housekeeping woke us up at 7:45 am by trying to open the door! Good thing we used the deadbolt! They said they didn’t hear an answer when they knocked/announced themself (we were asleep) and checkout is at 11. We were just like it’s not even close to 11, what the heck?

This was a great hotel to stay at. I felt very secure since you needed a keycard to use the elevators to floors that had rooms on them. Very friendly service! Will stay here again! :)
