Needs work

Pros: Staff, location.
Cons: Finish renovations, fix ice makers. Fill vending machines.
Location: Close to RPI.
Staff was great! No ice, broken ice makers on 2 floors. Fire alarm flashing lights went off twice. Soda machine out of stock on many items. Room was good. If renavations completed, would try again. Staff was great!

Power outage - great response

Truth is we arrived just after a storm had taken out the power to the hotel. Staff were totally responsive to our needs helping us move on to a hotel with power.

Location: N/A
Room was missing furniture and never cleaned by the end of our first day. Bed not made, floors not cleaned. Elevator was dirty and smelled funny. Not impressed at all.

Nice place to stay with a dog

Pros: Takes pets without a fee; the price (under $100 for a decent room); location (I spend a lot of time in Latham/Loudonville);
Cons: Having a way to make the hot tub "hotter"; more outdoor chairs in the patio by the pool; more obvious places to take dogs for a walk;
Location: As per above, right on Route 9, and very close to Latham Farms and Price Chopper. Not obvious from the front, but driving out the back is easy.
We were in town for Passover, and had our dog with us. We liked that they had treats at the front desk, and a LOT of other dogs there. Place is under renovation, but our room was already updated. We were on the third floor and it was very quiet. The pool was heated, and we liked that at the deep end, it's 4'11" deep. The hot tub was a little small, and did not get very hot, but it was a nice bonus. The breakfast set up was nice, with hard boiled eggs, waffles and bagels and stuff. They put out microwavable egg and sausage biscuit sandwiches as well. The coffee was a little weak on the first day, but was fixed by the second. The cable in the room had a bunch of HBO channels, but we really liked being able to watch free shows on demand. Generally, it was a nice place to stay. The room was kept clean and if there was "construction" going on, we didn't hear it. The only real downside to the location is that the hotel next door is vacant, and appears to have had a fire. So going outside at night to walk the dog can be a little daunting.

Pros: Fair price, close to airport.
Cons: Communication regarding shuttle service.
The rooms, amenities, breakfast, etc., were all as described. The hotel was close to the airport and had a free shuttle, which is what we needed. Unfortunately, when we called the hotel for the shuttle to pick us up, the front desk did not tell us that they used a taxi service rather than an actual hotel shuttle. This would have been no problem, but we waited in the "Hotel Shuttle" area at the airport. It took 20 minutes and another call to the hotel to find out we needed to go to the taxi area. Other than that miscommunication, the hotel was fine.

WAAAY NOISY! Beware: Party hotel !

Awful experience. WAAAY NOISY! Multiple parties going on next door and nearby. Called the front desk twice. No help. Slept two hours of bad sleep. We felt afraid. Never again... Also, to boot, the rooms have the cold - blue LED lights, just like fluorescent. Not a warm feeling at at.

We booked for 3 people, my husband, my teen age son and I. No blanket or sheet for my son. When we called, the front desk said that she can not leave the desk and we have to go to get it. It was 1am.
