a nice place

Posted Apr 10, 2016
Pros: everything was ok.
Cons: front desk people should be inviting and warm. When you check out, they should have smiles and a thank you and receipt ready for you w/o asking 4 one.
Location: everything is right there. within minutes.
good location, plenty of food places around. The Hotel was clean and orderly. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. newspapers available. The women that were working there cleaning the rooms and such were very helpful and polite. The front desk men were not up to par. No smiles, no thank you for staying with them. Did not make me feel like at home, which is what they should do. Customer service with a smiles. Other than those two front desk men, the whole stay was very nice. will be back if ever I need to.

Good hotel to stay in on the way to Gulf

Posted Apr 9, 2016
Pros: Clean, welcoming staff, great breakfast
We were on a trip to Pensacola from South Carolina. Albany was a stopping point and we were delighted with the reception and room. Location is close to national chain restaurants and medical facilities. Would definitely stay here again.

Right at Home while Working

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: It was clean, quiet, and overall comfortable
Cons: Not a dang thing.
Location: Go to White Oaks near Bluffton!
I commuted from Albany to Cuthbert everyday during my stay and I have to say it was the nicest and comfiest I've been away from home in a long time.

Excellent location for me and a good hotel.

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Excellent for me.
I truly enjoyed my second stay at this hotel and, if I travel to Albany again, I will stay there. The rooms are always clean, the staff is very professional and nice, the continental breakfasts are loved by my grandson and me as well as the pool. Overall, a solid 10 and/or Excellent on all fronts.

Don't Eat the Breakfast

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Very clean, easy location to get to and out of
Location: A nice Target and Publix grocery store across the street, allowed me to avoid having to have to get fast food for dinner
The hotel and staff in themselves was great, clean rooms, friendly people but unfortunately we all ended up with food poisoning after eating the breakfast (food was undercooked, but I think it was the fruit cocktail that was bad)....Due to having to listen to my ex husband complain about how it was my fault that the kids were sick when he picked them up to take home for his summer visit (this hotel is the halfway meeting spot)

The stay was OK, but not sure I would go back

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: the breakfast
Cons: Clean up the room and make sure things work.
I asked for non-smoking room with two beds. When we got to the room, it smelled like stale smoke. My son and I are non-smokers. I tried to call the front desk with the phone in the room, but it did not work. I used my cell phone to called and ask for another room, but was told there was only one other room available which only had one bed. It was too late to look for another place, so we stayed. We also noticed burned marks on the tub where someone had been smoking in the bathroom. And, the TV remote control did not work. I must say the breakfast the next morning was good and the lady in that area was helpful and friendly. When I checked out I restated the prior nights issues, and the desk clerk just smiled and said 'sorry'.

Nice hotel for the price

Posted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: price, comfy bed and good AC.
Cons: attention to detail...
I probably would have given this an "excellent" in all categories except for a few small details. The coverlet on my bed had a VERY suspicious milky white stain on it that housekeeping should have never overlooked and allowed to remain on the bed. It was literally the first thing I saw when I approached the bed! Could not miss it. Second thing was that I had mismatched towels and one was on its last legs and pretty small. That is a small thing but certainly one that just makes you wonder what other corners they are cutting. Overall the rest of the hotel was clean, bed was comfy, check-in staff was excellent and friendly. Check-out guy not so much.....Left me standing at the counter for 5 minutes without even acknowledging me while he finished some paperwork. For the price though, I'd stay there again.

Exactly what I needed

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Faster elevator
I was needing a clean, safe place to spend the night. That is what I received there. My only complaint is that the elevator moved too slowly. I took the stairs several times so that I did not have to ride the elevator.

Stay at Best Western, Albany, Georgia

Posted May 29, 2015
Pros: Everything! The cleanliness of the room, professionalism of the staff, the food at breakfast, the pool and shopping!
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Location: Major department stores like Target and close proximity to the Albany mall.
My stay at Best Western Albany was as close to perfect as possible. The room was clean, the staff was professional and frequently inquired about my stay and the breakfast was absolutely marvelous! My grandson, Isaiah, 6, who stayed with me at the hotel for several days, expressed genuine and surprising satisfaction with the quality of the scrambled eggs at breakfast and, when I asked him compliment the cook, he did by telling her, "Your eggs were so good that I didn't have to add salt!" and I was, quite frankly, supremely proud and at the same time flabbergasted at how he complimented the cook with absolutely no prompting. I will definitely stay at this hotel, GOD willing, when I am next able to visit my grandson and would highly recommend it as it also close to shopping and the highways.
