Discovered that heat/AC in first room didn't work, only after I unloaded a whole truckful of luggage. Was moved to another room where heat/ac did work, but the carpet was soaked, like walking on wet sponges. Additionally, Hotels.com had listed that the pet fee was $10.00 per night $15.00 max. Upon checking into the hotel, they told me it was $50.00. Travelling over the holidays didn't leave me much choice at the time. Confirming these details and calling the hotel, they wouldn't fix it. Hotels.com was great and after confirming the details also, they were able to credit me the difference.

Bad management

Actually, I wasn't the person staying at this location; my daughter was. However, I am compelled to respond because of the treatment I received on the phone by the manager. In short, because of hurricane Irma, I reserved 2 rooms through hotels.com. Through some error, either by the hotel or hotels.com, one of the 2 reservations was misplaced. While on the phone, the manager told me that it was my problem to solve with hotels.com. He said it was not a problem his hotel could have caused and then simply hung up on me. Ultimately, hotels.com found the problem: the hotel thought that one confirmation number meant there was only one room reserved. The hotel did have a room reserved but didn't look for it. The manager was rude and lazy.

Never stay here again!

Plaster falling off ceiling outside of hotel, 2 buckets in lobby to catch water falling from ceiling, stuffy smelling room, water stain on ceiling in room, dust caked on floor tiles, stained chair. Find another hotel....don't stay here!
