HOUSEKEEPING STOLE MY BRAND NEW SHOES!!

SOMEONE STOLE MY SHOES! Rushing out to check out in time, I forgot my brand new suede Charles Jourdan shoes in the room. I called, was informed to leave a message at the lost and found. I waited some days, never got a call back and called again. The manager then called back (this was the Thursday and I checked out that Monday) and told me they did not find any shoes, was I sure that was the room I stayed in. I said yes, I was there for 3 days-but can't you verify by my name? She told me no, once I check out there is no record (huh? Lies.) I said well I know I left them there, can't you check with the house keeper that cleaned the room? She informed me that the room had not yet been cleaned (YUCK-4 days later?) because my room has been out of order. I asked why, because there was nothing wrong with my room. She told me they didn't have sufficient staff to do so (disturbing to think I stayed in a hotel that would not clean a room for 3 days after someone spent 3 days in it) but even if someone had cleaned it, they have no record of which housekeeper went into the room (more lies.) I asked if they could check again, she said yes and after not getting a call for a week I called back and spoke to the Operations manager, who upon getting my name was able to locate what room I was in (see? it could be done!). He checked lost and found again, and after speaking with the housekeeper that had been in that room (see they have a way of knowing) informed me that no shoes had been found an
