This red roof Inn was below average in my opinion. Start with a good things, the room was reasonably clean, and the grounds of the facility are decent as well. That’s about all the good I could muster.
Cons of this place were Hallway to the ground floor, where my room was was filthy. Some other patrons were there with a dog. There was an incredible volume of white, fluffy dog here all of the hallway. It was also a large amount of dirt and small pieces of paper everywhere. Other people that were staying on that same hallway were very loud and there was no one around to talk to you about it. Also, the smell of weed coming from one of the rooms polluted the entire hallway and clearly someone should be addressing that. Disappointments in the room were One of the queen mattresses was sagging beyond belief. The bedframe itself also was either disconnected or broken. Somehow, in every time I rolled over it, clanged and clanked in the middle of the night. The mattress itself was pathetically worn out. My son’s queen bed was in decent shape. Refrigerator in the room had something wrong with the compressor which I didn’t realize until late at night. Whenever it kicked on, it sounded like there was a sump pump running in the room. This led me to have to get up and turn the temperature down as low as I could still maintain some level of coldness to keep the food I bought in there cold. Between the refrigerator and the mattress it was a sleepless evening.
