Didn't realize there wasn't an elevator. We were on the second floor and had some issues getting bags upstairs. Carpets were not vacuumed and even food bits on carpets going upstairs.

Very average hotel, everything was clean and it was cheap. My tv in my room was broken, though i didnt bother to bring it up to staff as i was only there for one night. And the breakfast was preeetty lame. They had waffles that you made yourself in a waffle iron and a selection of store bought breakfast items. My bagel tasted legitimately like paint, not quite sure what was up with that but i went ahead and threw it away.

One night stay on our way to NYC. Hotel is conveniently located halfway between home and final destination. Room was clean but "old" and in need of a repairs. Carpet in breakfast area was dirty. Will probably pay a little more and choose another hotel next time.

Last minute thing needed to book a hotel and came across this location. I usually hotel at red roof all the time because I have a dog and it’s free when you have a dog but overall nice place not too far to get something to eat within five minutes or so, the service really nice attentive overall overall experience A+ The only thing I would say the bed is kinda uncomfortable, but you can sleep during the night

You get what you pay for I guess is the best way to put it. At $60 for a king room mid week I shouldn't complain but reviews are for both owners/managers and potential travelers. Room 129 was clean when I entered and seemed to have gone through a recent furniture replacement. Once you looked closely you saw the broken drapery Rod, the slow draining tub, the bathroom ceiling that was flaking etc. The breakfast is very very basic, coffee was hot, waffle machine worked fine. There was a strong odor of marijuana in the hallway the night I checked in and also the next morning which I commented about at the front desk. "It's been a nightmare since legalization" and falls under the $250 fine upon checkout but probably not enforced. Proximity to everything is the Clifton Spark area is excellent. In my opinion the property needs a little love and it would be great. I don't think the price difference between hotels should be due to condition but amenities offered. It is nice to find a Red Roof with indoor hallways😊

The room was really nice. the sink leaked and the TV remote didn't work. They did bring another remote in. We had 1 remote for volume and 1 for channels. We booked non-smoking but the halls smell like smoke and we could, at times, smell it in the room. I would stay here again.

The first room given to us had previous guests smoking even if it was a non-smoking room. We were given another one but the fridge was so old and noisy that it woke us up many times at night, it sounded like an MRI ! We woke up in the morning with water on the floor as the fridge was leaking. Breakfast very limited. Overall, OK for one night, but not for a long stay.

We were there 20 minutes and left. We found Pubes and but wrinkles on the sheets. Mattress was cupped. Crusty food in the microwave. Black mold on the jacuzzi tub. Fridge was dented.ceilings paint peeling. Cob webs with spiders. Some sort of stains on the walls. This was a suite!!! Waiting on a refund!!!

This red roof Inn was below average in my opinion. Start with a good things, the room was reasonably clean, and the grounds of the facility are decent as well. That’s about all the good I could muster. Cons of this place were Hallway to the ground floor, where my room was was filthy. Some other patrons were there with a dog. There was an incredible volume of white, fluffy dog here all of the hallway. It was also a large amount of dirt and small pieces of paper everywhere. Other people that were staying on that same hallway were very loud and there was no one around to talk to you about it. Also, the smell of weed coming from one of the rooms polluted the entire hallway and clearly someone should be addressing that. Disappointments in the room were One of the queen mattresses was sagging beyond belief. The bedframe itself also was either disconnected or broken. Somehow, in every time I rolled over it, clanged and clanked in the middle of the night. The mattress itself was pathetically worn out. My son’s queen bed was in decent shape. Refrigerator in the room had something wrong with the compressor which I didn’t realize until late at night. Whenever it kicked on, it sounded like there was a sump pump running in the room. This led me to have to get up and turn the temperature down as low as I could still maintain some level of coldness to keep the food I bought in there cold. Between the refrigerator and the mattress it was a sleepless evening.

When I was staying here the sewer line had backed up and started flooding the lobby. The staff on site were unsure how to clean up the mess and stated they did not have bleach on the property to properly disinfect the area.

Waited for awhile for a front desk employee to assist and then I was doublecharged after prepaying the reservation. The front desk attendant proceeded to explain to me how hotel billing works even though he made the mistake. Had to call back to receive a refund re: the double charge. Carpet leading to room was also dirty. Parking lot could use more lighting.

It was fine, but could have been cleaner. The stairs and common spaces looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a while, the refrigerator in my room was noisy so I had to unplug it to sleep, and it definitely could have used basic maintenance/repair. It was fine for the night because my kids had an event and I was staying with their team, but I wouldn't book it otherwise.

My husband went to check in, told no rooms ready and he must stay on 2nd floor although he requested ground floor due to full hip and knee replacement. Front desk staff was rude and had no customer service skills. She told him if unhappy, go elsewhere and not her problem Since he booked through Expedia. He went elsewhere.

Basic and dated but OK
We were very happy with the lady that checked us in. We were early but she didn’t make an issue of that and just sorted a room which was available. We’d Been driving in appalling weather conditions so her cooperation was greatly appreciated. The room itself was warm and spacious but the hotel generally was a bit run down. The carpets in all areas needed a good vacuuming and the TV in our room needed replacing. There were vertical lines all over the screen and it only responded to certain buttons on the remote control. Breakfast was basic but ok.

We booked this place as quick place to stay, as we had a long drive and just needed to sleep before heading back on the road. This place will do for just that. I would not stay here for more than a night, as the cleanliness of the motel is not great. You can tell that all that occurs for cleaning is just changing the sheets and towels. There was stickiness on the walls and floors and hair in the shower and around the sink. We didn’t even have a bathroom light that worked but the staff were nice and if you need a quick place to crash it will do.

Nice, welcoming stay
This was a very nice location, close to shops and food. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the room above us was very noisy. We called the front desk and Christie addressed the problem right away. When the noise continued we were able to move to a new room.
