Older lodgings, affordable.Posted Jul 20, 2015
Affordable for a lengthy stay, close to shopping and services. Very dated, though clean and comfortable accommodations. Cable and wireless Internet.

need a place close to the airportPosted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Dev's helpfullness
Cons: The alarm clock needs replacing.
Location: It was close to the airport - a big concern for us.
Dev was very helpful, he gave us an alternate route to the airport, because my wife doesn't like freeways, particularly at night. I had a small concern about the alarm clock and he arranged a wakeup call so we wouldn't miss our flight. Thanks Dev.

As a last resort.Posted Jul 30, 2012
Pros: Leaving it
Cons: Arriving late and having prepaid the room.
Location: It was convenient to the Albany airport but so are about 50 other hotels in much better states of repair.
This is a one star hotel. The lobby is shabby and the supposed complimentary coffee does not exist. The exterior of the place is run down, needs paint and cleaning. The rooms are smelly and the carpet had cigarette burns. There were no non-smoking rooms available in this hotel. The furniture is old and broken. The chair for the work table only had one arm rest. At least the bathroom was clean and the air conditioning worked.

Rather sleep in the CarPosted Jul 16, 2011
When we arrived, albeit late at night, the open sign was lit. Yet when I went to check in, I had to ring the doorbell 3 times (spacing them a few minutes apart) and it seemed that the dark lobby was NOT actually open. Then the manager came out yelling at me that there were no vacancies ... I stayed at the door telling him we had a reservation. He did not speak English and finally let us in, complaining about customers going through online sites to make reservations. He then gave us a room (gave us options so clearly there were vacancies). The area did not seem safe, the room was bare and not clean. There was a roll of toilet paper and that was it in the room besides the bed and a TV. The bathroom door had a huge gouge out of it where a rack had been placed on the wall. We did not even change or take our shoes off. Needless to say, we will never return and will go for a nicer place next time!

Not BadPosted Dec 9, 2009
This hotel was dirty and the water was brown, but it served the purpose I was looking for, which was a place to crash for the night. Would not recommend it for more than one night.
