We really liked the hotel. Lovely old building but beautifully restored with the open courtyard and the rooms off landings around the upper floors of the courtyard. Like those places in Morocco. The staff were charming and v. helpful. Very central.

Great Location. Simple Comfort and excellent staffPosted Feb 24, 2018
Pros: Great location, helpful staff, simple comforts.
Cons: Lighting in rooms makes reading difficult.
Location: River walk, sit in cafes looking up at Alhambra. Walk to Cathedral. Walk up streets of the old town. Take trips to countryside of Sierra Nevada etc.
Good central location, by the river under the Alhambra with cafes nearby with great view up to the citadel as the sun sets. A short walk from the Cathedral and other sites. Very helpful staff arranging taxis and advising on trips. We changed rooms for a twin, and both Superior rooms were simple but with all necessary facilities and a balcony from which to watch people promenading the river walk and birds flitting around the bushes opposite.

beautiful hotelPosted Dec 25, 2017
Warm and welcoming. A great mix of old and new. In a lovely area, near everything, including the Alhambra.

Close to everythingPosted Nov 15, 2017
Hotel was central. Staff always helpful with great recommendations. Clean and comfortable beds, room and general areas. Pillows uncomfortable. Rooms dark. No big mirror (a good thing?) Street noisy in the morning. Drilling on corridor outside our room at 8am, no explanation. Would I stay again, probably. I liked the art and it being close to everything.

Beautiful, quiet, restful hotel.Posted Nov 13, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness - simplicity - decor - staff
Cons: Provide tea/coffee making facilities in the room
Location: The location. Was perfect right in the heart of the old city and within easy (but steep climb) of the Alhambra.
What a fantastic oasis of calm in a perfect location! My wife and I spent just one night at this hotel so that we could have a full day exploring Granada and the Alhambra- it did not disappoint and would definitely book again if we ever return to Granada.

Nice hotel near attractionsPosted Oct 27, 2017
Located on a fun little street narrow enough that you’d think it’s only for walking however our taxi dropped us right at the door. 10 to 15 minuet walk to most attractions.

Could see Alhambra at night from the hallway. Excellent staff—very helpful. There was a WiFi problem, but it was fixed.

Pros: The Position Nd the lovely reception staff.
Hotel location excellent, on the edge of the old city/and new. Close to restaurants, not far from monuments. View of Alhambra from street. Advice if you go to the viewing point at St Michael Church (of the Alhambra) take a C1 Bus it takes you to the top without walking up hundreds of stairs. Would rate the hotel room a very basic 2/3. Reception staff were very helpful. No eating or drinking in your room allowed but a tray was placed in the reading room with tea making facilities for use in the late afternoon. Sometimes it accompanied a bottle of sherry/glasses to enjoy.
