“clean and fresh”

“Room 110- The room was outdated, and was probably an old smoking room due to the overwhelming smell. The air conditioner/heating unit was very loud but I understood that it may have been working hard to keep the room warm. Otherwise the room was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the price was right for a quick overnight stay.”

“Our stay at Cypress Moon Inn was idyllic! The home is close to amenities. Cocooned on a large waterfront lot in a haven of trees, you feel miles away from the bustle. Upon arrival, Linda warmly greeted us and ensured our comfort before offering a dinner suggestion. Ocean Boulevard was a spot-on recommendation! The next morning, Greg shared local knowledge of the greater Outer Banks region. We followed several of his suggestions, resulting in an engaging and lovely day of exploration. The……

“Nice hotel with a great location to beach, shopping, food and day excursions.”

“We've been coming here for 5+ years and really enjoy the location and Hampton Inn chain hotels. Our room was clean and we were very comfortable. I was not very impressed with the breakfast staff however; hot water for tea was lukewarm most times. I noticed guests had to ask for items that had run out/were not replenished during breakfast. The person in charge seemed to be overwhelmed. Also, I did notice in the public bathroom, rust spots and what seem to be water damage to wallpaper at some……

“Cute little dormer had everything we needed. Much more than a “room rental.” Owners very helpful and anxious to please. Abundance of info given on surrounding areas and dining. We thoroughly enjoyed all the dining options they recommended. We should have paid more attention to the detail that renters need to climb 3 sets of stairs. We did not have a problem with that (other than ground or second floor would have been easier) or but others may. A good experience for us. ”

“Nice staff, great location, but the place is full of mosquitos, all kinds of bugs, and even snake... Can't feel the safety after seeing that and checked out quickly... ”

“Clean, comfortable and affordable room with nice shower! Bri met us with a smile and showed us around the place. We were not able to use the cute fire-pit area or tiki bar due to inclement weather, but I'm sure it's a hit on nice evenings. Coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the main house. Rooms come with a fridge which is great if you go out to eat and have leftovers. Centrally located on the island. ”

“We were only driving through on our way to Charleston, but so glad we stayed, it will now be a destination. The room was clean and comfortable. The beach is beautiful the staff was nice and helpful, great little restaurant right across the street. Nice walkable area.”

“My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Tranquil House Inn in Manteo while we explored the Outer Banks. The rooms and service were great, and the location right on the water in downtown Manteo was perfect. Manteo has a charming downtown that offers plenty of shops and attractions without feeling too touristy. We also really enjoyed the light breakfast offerings each morning and the staff were so friendly and helpful.”

“Room was clean but food left over in the microwave tht had a horriable smell in room..i informed the front desk she just gave me spray and said someone had just checked out at 10 am..i doupt it cause they wud have smelled the rotten food..fridge didnt work..and toilet gurgled all not like it was backed up..deff find a better motel or place to stay..front desk could have cared less..”
